Outcomes: By the end of the lesson learners will be able to ask and answer about sports; play a guessing game to remember the lexical set; to remember the new words.

Get ready for the lesson.

Today we are going to discuss kinds of sport you like or don’t like. You will play games, do crossword, work in pairs and develop speaking skills.

Game “Find the partner”
You like playing football. Find out who has got a ball.

You like cycling. Find out who has got a bike.
|
You are fond of running. Find out who has got a stop watch.
|
You play table tennis. Find out who has got a bat.
|
You go rowing. Find out who has got oars.
|
You are fond of playing tennis. Find out who has got a racket.
|
You go swimming. Find out who has got goggles.
|
You like playing hockey. Find out who has got a stick.
|
You have got a ball. Find out who likes playing football.
|
You have got a bike. Find out who likes cycling.
|
You have got a stop watch. Find out who is fond of running.

You have got a bat. Find out who plays table tennis.

You have got oars. Find out who goes rowing.

You have got a racket. Find out who is fond of playing tennis.
