План-конспект уроку з англійської мови для учнів 3-го класу за підручником О.Карпюк. Урок має на меті знайомство учнів з новими лексичними одиницями. Допомагає дітям в ігровій формі познайомитись з видами погоди англійською мовою, допоможе відпрацювати вимову звуків [ð ], [ ʃ]. Урок спрямований на розвиток мовленевих компетенцій в учнів, на удосконалення навичок читання та розвитку зорової пам'яті.

Hello! How are you? I'm glad to see you safe and sound today.

The topic for studying today is weather. By the end of the lesson you should learn new vocabulary and be able to use it in your speech. We’ll practice our skills in speaking, reading and writing.

Phonetics

On the board there are cards with letters th, sh. (додаток 1)

Pupils with the teacher speak out the tongue twister.

Whenever the weather is cold

Whenever the weather is hot

We'll whether the weather

Whenever the weather,

Whether we like it or not.

We seeSH, but hear [ ʃ] 

Pupils with the teacher speak out the tongue twister.

I wish to wish the wish you wish to wish,

But if you wish the wish the witch wishes, I won't wish the wish you wish to wish.

After several repetitions pupils try to speak out by themselves.

 

Main part

Submission of new material.

The teacher shows the cards and speaks out what is shown there. (додаток 2)

It's sunny, it's snowy, it'swindy, it's rainy, it's hot, it’s cold, it’s cloudy.

Pupils repeat.

What's the weather? – ( pupils repeat all together)

Fixing knowledge

The teacher repeats the question and points to the card; the student must answer what the weather is.

What's the weather? –It's cold….

And now let's sing together. (The teacher switches on the video with the song, pupils sing the song all together. What's the weather like today?).

Writing

Look at the weather card and if you like such weather write this word under the Happy Smilley and if you don’t like such weather write this word under Sad Smilley. (додаток 3)

Are you tired? Let's play together.

Let's go walking in the rain

Walking, walking, on tiptoe

Lift your one foot way up high

Then the other  to keep it dry

All around the yard we skip

Watch your step or you might slip!

 

Game « What is missing? »

On the board there are weather cards, pupils close their eyes, the teacher turns over the card and pupils should say witch card is turned. The student who first guessed goes out to the board and shifts another card, and so on.

Pre-reading

What weather do you like? – I like….

Do you like when it's cold? – Yes I do /No I don't.

Do you stay at home when it's rainy/sunny? – Yes I do/ No I don't.

Reading

Students open textbooks on p.108 and read one sentence in turn.

Post-reading

What's the weather in Bill's town?

What do children do when the weather is bad?

Look at the chain you have on your card, you should find the words about weather
