Mother’s Day
Student 1: Dear boys and girls! You are welcome to our party! We have invited you to the holiday of Mother's Day. The month of May is rich in beautiful holidays. On the second Sunday we have Mother's Day.
Student 2: Our dear mothers, guests and teachers! Today is a special day, it is Mother's Day, Day of our beloved Mothers.
ST 1: To each of us our mother is the dearest person. She is near us when we are small children and she is always ready to help us when we become older!
ST 2: Mother is the name of all things which are dearest to people. Nothing can be greater for you than your mother. And if you love and respect her, if you never forget about your duty to your mother and your Motherland, you will be the happiest person. It is not by chance that people say,” He who loves his mother is real son of his Motherland.”
M is for the million things she gave us
O means only that she’s growing old.
T is for the tears she shed to save me.
H is for her heart of purest gold.
E is for her eyes, with love-light shining.
R means right, and right she’ll always be.
“Mother”
A word that means the world to me.
Song YOU’RE MY MOM
Lyrics
You have given me my breath,
You have given me my strength.
You've given me everything I needed.
You have showed me how to shine
You show me love all the time
And in my heart I feel it.
You always show me how to face another tomorrow
And your always by my side.
(Chorus)
You're my mom and there is no one else like you
You're my mom and you always know what to do.
You're my mom and you know I love you too,
You're my mom...
Because of you I know who I am
Because of you I know I can
Do anything that I want to.
I don't have the words to say, but I am thankful everyday
That God has blessed me with you.
You always show me how to face another tomorrow
And your always by my side.
( Chorus)
You’re my mom…
ST 3: In England there is an ancient holiday called Mothering Sunday, now sometimes called Mother’s Day. It is on a Sunday near the end of March or sometimes at the beginning of April. On that day, sons and daughters visited their mothers and brought them flowers and little presents. The eldest son had to bring his mother a good cake. If sons and daughters could not be with their mothers on that day, they usually sent them presents.
ST 1: In some parts of England this old custom is still celebrated. In other English families the second Sunday in May is called Mother’s Day. This date is officially Mother’s Day in the USA and Canada. Mother’s Day must be a day of rest for the mother of the family.
MY MOTHER
By Jane Taylor
Who fed me from her gentle breast,
And hushed me in her arms to rest,
And on my cheeks sweet kisses pressed?
My Mother.
When sleep forsook my open eye,
Who was it sang sweet hushaby
And rock'd me that I should not cry?
My Mother.
When pain and sickness made me cry,
Who gazed upon my heavy eye,
And wept for fear that I should die?
My Mother.
Who ran to help me when I fell,
And would some pretty story tell,
Or kiss the place to make it well?
My Mother.
When you are feeble, old and grey,
My healthy arm shall by you stay,
And I will soothe your pains away,
My Mother.
ST 1. Mum, mummy... This is the first word uttered by a child with a merry smile on their face. And Mother is always ready to give her life for her child. Her love is a sacrifice.
ST 2. The most tender and best words are kept in our hearts for Mother. Mankind exists only due to Mother's love. There is nothing more sacred and unselfish than Mother’s love.
DANCING SHOW - A MOTHER’S LOVE by Jim Bickman
Flowers for mother
I never have a special day
To give flowers to my mother;
I give them to her every day
To show how much I love her!
When I sweep the kitchen floor,
Or care for baby brother,
Run on errands, or make the beds,
I’m giving flowers to mother.
It’s lots of fun pretending
And to hear my mother say,
“ Thank you, dear, for all the flowers
You’ve given me today.”
Mother
You’re my angel and my friend,
And every day you are afraid
Of what is happening to me,
But mother I remember thee.
You are my angel and my friend
And in your heart I have my part,
That always gives your smile and hand
And love for me and your beloved.
You give advice, you teach and pray,
Support and help me in these days.
STUDENTS SING A SONG “MUM”
You might have a mom, she might be the bomb
But ain't nobody got a mom like mine
Her love's 'til the end, she's my best friend
Ain't nobody got a mom like mine
She’s my world, she's my heart and there's no denying
I'm her girl no matter what even when I'm lying
She loving me, loving me, loving me, loving me, love
She love me like nobody else
I'm telling you, telling you, telling you, telling you all
She taught me how to love myself
You might have a mom, she might be the bomb
But ain't nobody got a mom like mine
Her love's 'til the end, she's my best friend
Ain't nobody got a mom like mine
See we go way back, oh, I remember
All the times that I cried, she made me feel better
She loving me, loving me, loving me, loving me, love
She loves me like nobody else
I'm telling…
MY MOTHER'S FACE
I know a face, a lovely face
As full of beauty as of grace,
A face of pleasure and of smile.
In darkness it gives light.
A face that is itself like joy,
To see it I'm a happy boy.
I like the way you look,
I like the way you cook.
Now what I really want to say
Is: “Happy Mother’s Day!”
ST 3: It’s a beautiful day to say your mum “I love you! Happy Mother’s day!”
STUDENTS SING A SONG “IT’S A BEAUTIFUL DAY”:
The sun shines bright
As it moves across my face
I feel the light
And everything is in it’s place
I woke up feeling great
Today was made for me
And life is good, the way it should, the way it was meant to be
And it’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
The wind is blowing, the bells are ringin’
Children playing in the park
While birds are singin’
And I’m walkin’, and I’m laughin’
Life is perfect, I’m not tryin’, it’s just happenin’
And it’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
[Repeat Chorus]
It’s a beautiful day
The sun shines bright
As it moves across my face
I feel the light
And everything is in it’s place
I woke up feeling great
Today was made for me
And life is good, the way it should, the way it was meant to be
And it’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
The wind is blowing, the bells are ringin’
Children playing in the park
While birds are singin’
And I’m walkin’, and I’m laughin’
Life is perfect, I’m not tryin’, it’s just happenin’
And it’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
It’s a beautiful day
[Repeat Chorus]
