Open your St. B. page 36 Warm up – game “Mime the word” – review previous words – flashcards. Write ACTIONS on the board – show flashcards and name their meaning. Draw smiles on the board. Show one card and say – I can climb, I can’t play tennis. Stick falshcards under the smiles. Ask – What actions can you do? Encourage students to say full sentences. I can/can’t run.

St. B. p. 36 N 1 Look at the photos! Point to a photo and tell me what objects or colours you can see. I can see a ball. I can see blue. Play the recording for students to listen, point and repeat the words 2 times.

N 2 You are going to listen to the recordings of the different actions from exercise one. Listen and find the photo. Pause after each one for students to say the word.

N 3 Let’s name these actions. We are going to listen to people playing a game. Listen and follow. Point to the correct picture – 6 Circle three actions. Mime them to your partner. He/she should guess it and name it. Change pairs.

N 4 Look at the pictures and name the boy and his toy. What is his name? – Tang. And his toy – toy robot. Listen and follow the story. Model for students to repeat chorally. Ask students – Can the robot talk/jump/swim. Play again to follow. In pair act out the story. Invite pairs to act for the class.
