"Elias Church" First it was a wooden church. It was built in 1705. In 1791 a fire burned down the Elias Church. The decree of the Consistory of 1792 allowed to build a new church. Elias Church was built in classical style. This brick, plaster rectangular temple has cut north-eastern and south-eastern cornus and attached bell tower on the west side.
"Trinity Cathedral" The Cathedral was built in the early twentieth century (1901-1914). It reminds Isaakovsky Cathedral in St.Petersburg. To prepare a draft P.I.Kharitonenko appealed to the Moscow architect A.Shchusev. But he was not able to do all the design of the cathedral by that time. And the church was designed and built by Sumy architect Y.A.Scholz
"Peter and Paul Cathedral" It is a cemetery church, because it is situated in the tour cemetery. It is an example of classicism. Its plan was approved in 1840 but it was approved in 1840 but it was started to build in 1843.This stone church preserved original interior decoration .It is one of the best examples of classicism in the eastern regions of Ukraine.
"Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist" It is a stone church with bell tower. It is located on the north-eastern outskirts of Sumy. The church is the main architectural dominant of Luke. The area of the church is surrounded by a wall with two ornamental iron gates of the late XIX century. The building is decided in the style of the late provincial classicism.
