Презентаційний урок з англійської мови у 2 класі

Тема уроку/ The subject of the lesson:"In the World of Animals."

Мета:/Aims:

• практична:

активізувати й систематизувати вивчену лексику з теми "Тварини" шляхом багаторазового, сві­домого повторення матеріалу в різноманіт­них видах діяльності;

повторити граматичний матеріал (вживання граматичних структур: - it likes,

 - it doesn’t like; - does it like..?);

формувати навички аудіювання, говоріння, читання; навчати учнів бачити результати колективної діяльності;

• освітня: поглиблювати знання учнів про особливості та вподобання представників тваринного світу;
• розвивальна:

розвивати комунікативні здібності школярів, вміння працювати в групах, парах;

формувати культуру мовлення учнів, уміння висловлювати свої  думки  англійською мовою;

розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення;

розвивати ерудицію, логічне мислення;

розвивати слухову, зорову пам'ять;

розвивати фонематичний слух, мовну здогадку;

• виховна:виховувати інтерес до навчання; прищеплювати інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови; виховувати любов до тварин та бережливе ставлення до них.

Тип уроку/Type of the lesson: урок узагальнення та систематизації пройденого лексичного та граматичного матеріалу.

Обладнання: підручник Quick Minds 2, флеш-картки для роботи в парах, аудіозапис, відеоматеріали, картки для роботи в групах, комп’ютерна презентація.

Хід урок / Procedure

I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного матеріалу.

1.1 Привітання/Greeting(вірш)

     Т.:    Good morning, children!

2.1 Повідомлення теми та мети уроку/ Presentation

T.: We have got an unusual lesson today. The topic of our lesson is "In the World of Animals"

T.: Today we’ll summarize our knowledge on the topic "Animals". At the end of the lesson you’ll present your projects about animals and we’ll create our own "Book of Riddles". Let’s travel to the animals’ world!

2.2 Повторення лексичного матеріалу.

T.: Children, let’s watch the video "Dino Animals"and revise the words.  

T.: Now, come up to the board and match the words with these cards.

T.: Children, what groups of animals do you know? (Wild /domestic).

Game "Find the Home"

T.: Children, our animals have lost the way to their homes. Help them, please.

T.: It’s a home of the domestic animals and it’s a home of the wild animals. Your task is to find the home for these animals. (Учні поселяють тваринок у будиночки.)

T.: What wild /domestic animals do you know? (Бесіда з учнями)

Т.: Well done!

2.3 Вправа на розвиток зорового сприймання.

T.: Let’s do the Crossword. Find some food for animals. (Pupils find and circle the food words in the word search).

(Grass, cheese, meat, fish, chicken, bananas, carrot, peas, apple)

T.: - Sasha, what food have you found? (Саша, яку їжу ти знайшла?)

- Sonia, what food have you found? (Соня, яку їжу ти знайшла?)

T.: Great work!

2.4 Розвиток навичок аудіювання. / Listening. Game "What is it?"

T.: Let's play a guessing game. Listen to the riddles and guess what is it?

1. It is a domestic animal. It likes fish.  What is it? (It is a cat.)

2. It is a wild animal. It likes bananas. What is it? (It is a monkey.)

3. It is a domestic animal. It can run and jump. It likes carrot. What is it? (It is a rabbit.)

4. It is a wild animal. It is big and grey. It likes grass. What is it? (It is a hippo.)

5. It is a domestic animal. It likes grass and gives milk. What is it? (It’s a cow.)

6. It is a wild animal. It is a king of animals. It likes meat. What is it?  (It is a lion.)

T.: Listen one more time and answer the questions.

T.: Great work!

2.5 Фізкультхвилинка (пісня "In the Zoo")

We are tired. Let’s have a rest. (Учні співають пісню та імітують рухи тварин).

2.6 Розвиток діалогічного мовлення / Speaking

T.: Children, I’ll give you some cards with animals. You should look at these cards then ask and answer the questions about animals in pairs, according to this example. Look at the screen, listen and repeat. Now let’s act out the dialogues.

Example:

Pl1: What animal have you got?

- I’ve got a snake.

Pl.1: What does it like?

-It likes meat. (Учні по черзі розповідають міні-діалоги).

T.: Excellent!

2.7 Розвиток навичок читання/ Reading

T.: Please open your books on page 24, read the text from exercise 1 about "Hipsway Zoo" and say ”yes” or ”no”.

Pre-reading activity.

T.: What’s your favourite animal? Is it the lion? The monkey? The hippo?

Reading. "Hipsway Zoo"

The lion likes meat. The monkey likes fruit. The hippo likes grass.

1. There are cats at the zoo.

2. The hippo doesn’t like grass.

3. The lion likes meat.

4. The monkey doesn’t like fruit. (Pupils read the text and decide whether sentences are true or false).

T.: Great work!

2.8 Презентація творчих робіт. Завершальний етап проекту "Book of Riddles".

T.: You have prepared the pictures of wild and domestic animals at home. Now, you should write about your animals, following this model.

My favourite animal is_____(small / big).

                                     It is a______(wild / domestic).

                                     It likes________   (bananas)             but

                                     it doesn’t like_____(meat).

                                                                       What is it?

T.: Children, are you ready to create your own "Book of Riddles"?

 Let’s present your projects. (Some children read their riddles and the others guess what is it?)

T.: Thank you so much. Our book is ready. You did a great job!
