Тема: Sandwich Party

Мета: удосконалювати вміння аудіювання, читання, усного мовлення; перевірити рівень умінь застосовувати вивчене у знайомих і змінених ситуаціях; розвивати в учнів вміння логічно, послідовно будувати висловлювання (складання інструкцій); вчити учнів виконувати завдання, працюючи в групі; виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань.

Обладнання: роздавальний матеріал, ілюстрації, презентація Microsoft PowerPoint, текст для читання, відеоролик.

 

Хід уроку:

1. Привітання.

 

2. Мовленнєва зарядка.

Do you like to cook?

 If you don’t have any time to cook what would you prepare?

In general you cook fast food.

 

3. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Let’s play a game “Fast Food Wheel”

So, today we’ll speak about sandwiches.

Teacher: November, 3 is Sandwich Day and sandwiches are very useful when you have guests and no time for cooking. So, today we have the Sandwich party. The slogan of our party is:

 “Sandwiches taste better when someone makes them for you!”

 

So, you are welcome to the sandwich party. Let’s start our party.

  Учні об’єднуються у групи і отримують назви. Потім учні виконують завдання

4. Активізація ЛО.

Teacher: To speak about sandwiches we’d better remember some useful words.

1. Count the words connected with “Meals”

(Вчитель зачитує всі слова серед яких є слова на тему «Їжа». Учасникам потрібно порахувати їх кількість)

Milk, apple, home, friend, school, soup, spaghetti,  potato, por­ridge, bell, bread, cheese, fish, brother, Africa,  par­ents,  meat, sev­en, teacher - (10)

 

2. In each list of words find the general word and the odd one.

• Orange, apple, lemon, peach, pudding, apricot, fruit, plum.
• Mutton, pork, cheese, beef, meat, veal, bacon, chicken.
• Beans, beet, carrot, cucumber, vegetables, tangerine, onion, garlic.
• Coffee, milk, cocoa, tea, oil, drink, wine, juice.
• Biscuit, bun, roll, bread, cake, sour-cream, pancakes, pastry.

 

3. Jumbled sentences.

Unscramble the sentences

5. Читання.

Учням читають текст. Далі виконують завдання доповнити речення без опори на текст.

The First Sandwich

John Montague ['mɔntəgjuː], Earl of Sandwich, was an English nobleman. He lived in the 18^th century. He loved playing cards for money. A game of cards sometimes lasted for hours and hours and Montague didn’t like stopping for lunch or dinner.

One day he had an idea. He asked his servant to prepare a piece of meat between two slices of bread – now he could eat while playing cards. Others began to order "the same as Sandwich!" The original sandwich was, in fact, a piece of salt beef between two slices of toasted bread.

Complete the sentences:

6. Аудіювання.

Учні переглядають відеозапис із інструкцією приготування бутербродів і потім вирішують чи відповідають речення змісту інструкції чи ні.

7. Усне мовлення (Творче завдання «Мастер шеф»)

Кожна група учнів отримує завдання придумати рецепт бутерброда. Потім після підготовки один учень від групи представляє бутерброд.

Imagine you’re the participants of the Master-chef culinary show. We have two teams. You have to choose a leader. You task is to prepare your own recipe of sandwich and to present it.
