Мета: активізувати лексику з теми «Музика», формувати лексичні навички говоріння, практикувати учнів у читанні тексту з метою отримання загального уявлення та точного і повного розуміння усієї інформації, що в ньому міститься ; тренувати навички аудіювання за допомогою пісень; розвивати мовну інтуїцію, мовну реакцію, сприяти розвитку самостійного мислення, розвивати комунікативні навички; виховувати любов до музики, виховувати відчуття значення музики в нашому житті;
Тип уроку: комбінований ;
Обладнання: демонстраційні картки, роздатковий матеріал, музичні уривки для прослуховування .

T. People speak different languages. There are more than 5,000 of them. But what do you think is there a universal language in our world?

T. I think you’ll agree that music is a universal language that everyone understands. Music makes our life brighter and happier. The word “Music” originates from the Greek word “muse”. Musa – Goddess of Music. (Слайд 3)

T. Today at the lesson we are going to:
activate the key – words of the topic;
practice the usage of the Present Perfect Passive Voice;
develop reading skills, listening skills, speaking skills and using the vocabulary.

(rock, country, rap, folk, jazz, reggae…)
c) What is your favourite music style? Why? (Look at the blackboard and use the adjectives: beautiful, touching, cheerful, relaxing, romantic, pleasant, sad, energetic) (Слайд 7)
F.E. As for me, I like pop music because it is cheerful, simple and touching.

Учні діляться на команди по 3 -4 чоловіка. Кожна команда отримує картки із визначеннями стилів музики та музичних інструментів. На стінах в кабінеті розвішані QR – codes. Завдання учнів поєднати слова з їх визначенням. ( зашифрованим словом).
Concert – is a musical show. As a rule musicians take part in it.
Orchestra – is a group o f musicians. Symphony … performs classical music.
Drums – to play this instrument you need to beat; it makes rhythmic sounds; it is used to play rock, pop and jazz music.
Flute – to play this instrument you need to blow, it makes beautiful sounds; only professional musicians can play it in symphony orchestra.
Rock’n’roll – is a style of music that was popular in 1950s but it is still played now, which has a strong loud beat, repeats a few simple phrases and is usually played on electric instruments. It was first made popular by Bob Marley and Elvis Presley.
Classical music – is the one written with serious artistic intentions and having an attraction that lasts over a long period of time.
Rap – is a type of pop music in which the words of a song are spoken in time with music, with a steady beat.
Pop – a popular music that many people like; music genre with short melodic songs that are easy to remember.
Piano – a large musical instrument, played by pressing narrow black or white which cause small hammers to hit wire strings.
Harp – a type of 4 – stringed musical instrument that is held between the knees and played with a bow.

P2 To make this top – five we asked all the boys and girls of our class about their music preferences. Now let’s see what results we got.
P 1 So, let’s start with number 5. And on the fifth place we have Tate McRea with her song “Greedy”.
P2 We meet ocean Elzy and Odin v Canoe with the song “Misto vesni” on the fourth place.
P1 Thank you. And now we have top 3. So, on the third place we meet Imagine dragons with their “Thunder”.
