Тема :Music.

Мета: активізувати лексику з теми «Музика», формувати лексичні навички говоріння, практикувати учнів у читанні тексту  з метою отримання  загального уявлення та точного і повного розуміння усієї інформації, що в ньому міститься ; тренувати навички аудіювання  за допомогою пісень; розвивати мовну інтуїцію, мовну реакцію, сприяти розвитку самостійного мислення, розвивати  комунікативні навички; виховувати любов до музики, виховувати відчуття значення музики в нашому житті;

Тип уроку: комбінований ;

Обладнання: демонстраційні картки, роздатковий матеріал, музичні уривки для  прослуховування .

T. People speak different languages. There are more than 5,000 of them. But what do you think is there a universal language in our world?

T. I think you’ll agree that music is a universal language that everyone understands. Music makes our life brighter and happier. The word “Music” originates from the Greek word “muse”. Musa – Goddess of Music. (Слайд 3)

T. The motto of our today’s lesson is: “ Music is the strongest form of magic”. ( Marilyn Manson) (Слайд 4)

T. Today at the lesson we are going to:

     activate the key – words of the topic;

     practice the usage of the Present Perfect Passive Voice;

     develop reading skills, listening skills, speaking skills and using the vocabulary.

     promote broadening of general pupil outlook;

     work out positive attitude to music.

T. By the end of the lesson you’ll be able to:

     Use vocabulary on the topic “Music”;

     Use the grammatical pattern the Present Perfect Passive Voice;

     Participate in all activities;

T. Let’s see if you’re keen on music. You like music, don’t you? Answer my questions.

a) Why do people listen to music? (Слайд 5)

     For pleasure

     To have fun

     Not to feel alone

     To relax

     To enrich the vocabulary

     To know the culture

     To entertain oneself

b) What music styles do you know? (Слайд 6)

(rock, country, rap, folk, jazz, reggae…)

c) What is your favourite music style? Why? (Look at the blackboard and use the adjectives: beautiful, touching, cheerful, relaxing, romantic, pleasant, sad, energetic) (Слайд 7)

F.E. As for me, I like pop music because it is cheerful, simple and touching.

IV Повторення та активізація вивченого лексичного матеріалу. ( Matching, QR – codes) (Слайд 8)

Учні діляться на команди по 3 -4 чоловіка. Кожна команда отримує картки із визначеннями стилів музики та музичних інструментів. На стінах в кабінеті розвішані QR – codes. Завдання учнів поєднати слова з їх визначенням. ( зашифрованим словом).

Concert – is a  musical show. As a rule musicians take part in it.

Orchestra – is a group o f musicians. Symphony … performs classical music.

 Drums – to play this instrument you need to beat; it makes rhythmic sounds; it is used to play rock, pop and jazz music.

Flute – to play this instrument you need to blow, it makes beautiful sounds; only professional musicians can play it in symphony orchestra.

Rock’n’roll – is a style of music that was popular in 1950s but it is still played now, which has a strong loud beat, repeats a few simple phrases and is usually played on electric instruments. It was first made popular by Bob Marley and Elvis Presley.

Classical music – is the one written with serious artistic intentions and having an attraction that lasts over a long period of time.

Rap – is a type of pop music in which the words of a song are spoken in time with music, with a steady beat.

Pop – a popular music that many people like; music genre with short melodic songs that are easy to remember.

Piano – a large musical instrument, played by pressing narrow black or white which cause small hammers to hit wire strings.

Harp – a type of 4 – stringed musical instrument that is held between the knees and played with a bow.

V Розвиток навичок аудіювання.

Учні прослуховують уривки музики і називають стиль музики.

VI Повторення граматичної структури: Present Perfect Passive Voice. Виконання тренувальних впав.

1.      Учитель нагадує учням про вживання теперішнього доконаного пасивного стану. (Слайд 9)
2.     Виконання вправ на закріплення граматичного матеріалу.

T. Today at our lesson we have two special guests who will help me. Let’s welcome them.

P1 Hi, everyone, my name is Liza and this is Miroslav. We hope you love music as much as we love it.  Today we’ll present the top – five in our class.

P2 To make this top – five we asked all the boys and girls of our class about their music preferences. Now let’s see what results we got.

P 1 So, let’s start with number 5. And on the fifth place we have Tate McRea with her song “Greedy”.

P2 We meet ocean Elzy and Odin v Canoe with the song “Misto vesni” on the fourth place.

P1 Thank you. And now we have top 3. So, on the third place we meet Imagine dragons with their “Thunder”.

P2 It was really interesting. Number two. What do you think, who is in the second place? This is a young Ukrainian singer Artem Pivivarov with his song “Manifest”.
