Topic «Visiting a Doctor»

Aim: By the end of the lesson my students will be able to give some advice orally using modals should/ shouldn`t while roleplaying a dialogue in the context «Visiting a Doctor»

1. Warm up

T: -How are you today?

Children show Smiles with different emotions and answer.

2. Lead-in

T: - I know, Misha went to the hospital yesterday. Find out what was the reason.

Children ask – Did you have a …..

3. Practice

1. Repetition

Each student names the part of  body he remembers the best. Other repeat it and show off.

2. Energizer

Singing ‘Head, shoulders…’

3. Spider web-game

Children are divided into 2 groups

They get links with written parts of  body

Group 1 chooses for ache

Group 1 chooses for pain

4. Communicative activity

T: - Children, give some advice a person with such symptoms as…

(show some slides with 3-4 symptoms)

5. Output
