Сценарій до "Дня Подяки" для учнів 6-7 класів

 Teacher: Dear parents, teachers, students and guests. Welcome to our party dedicated to one of the most important holiday in America – Thanksgiving Day.

1-й ведучий: Thanksgiving Day is the oldest national traditional holiday in the USA. It comes on the 4-th Thursday of November. People of all faiths celebrate this day. They give thanks for the many good things in their lives.

2-й ведучий: День подяки є найстарішим національним традиційним святом у США. Він приходить на 4-й четвер листопада. Люди всіх віросповідань святкують це свято. Вони дякують за все хороше в їхньому житті.

1-й ведучий: The first Thanksgiving Day were harvest festivals , held to give thanks for good crops. For this reason Thanksgiving is celebrated in the fall , after crops have been gathered.

2-й ведучий: Перші Дні Подяки були днями врожаю, під час яких люди дякували за гарні врожаї. Ось чому День Подяки святкують восени , після того як зібраний врожай.

1-й ведучий: The first real Thanksgiving Day was celebrated e the pilgrims in 1612. They come from England to the USA for the religious freedom. They sailed from Plymouth, England on September 16, 1620.

Their ship was called Mayflower.

Виходять на сцену пілігріми.

Виходять діти розповідати вірші про пілігримів.

 

1. The Pilgrims came across the sea

     And never thought of you and me,

     And yet it’s very strange the way

     We think of them Thanksgiving Day.

2. We tell their story, old and true,

     Oh, how they  sailed across the blue.

     And found a new land to be free

     And built their homes quite near the sea.

3. Every child knows well the tale

    Of how the bravely turned the sale

    And journeyed many a day to night

    To worship God as they thought right. 

4. The people think that they were sad

    And grave, I’m sure that they were glad

    They made Thanksgiving Day – that’s fun

    We think the Pilgrims, everyone.

1-й ведучий: The first winter was terrible. The pilgrims arrived too late to grow a rich harvest. Moreover, half the colony from disease . So, there was much sickness and starvation.

2-й ведучий: Перша зима була жахлива. Пілігріми прибули занадто пізно, щоб виростити гарний врожай. Половина колонії померла від хвороб. Отож, був і голод, і холод.

Пілігріми  на сцені промовляють такі слова:

I’m dying. Я помираю.

I’m hungry. Я голодний.

I’m cold. Я замерз.

Пілігріми на сцені промовляють такі слова:

We are your friends. Ми - ваші друзі.

We’ll help you. Ми допоможемо вам.

1-й ведучий: Native Indians taught the pilgrims how to plant, to hunt, to fish and how to survive in America.

2-й ведучий: Корінні індіанці навчили пілігрімів як вирощувати врожай, як полювати, як ловити рибу і як вижити  в Америці.

1-й ведучий: In the autumn of 1621 they got a beautiful harvest of corn, barley, beans and pumpkins. The colonists had much to be thankful for, so they planned a feast.

2-й ведучий: восени 1621 року пілігріми мали гарний врожай кукурудзи, ячменю, бобів та гарбузів. Колоністам було за що дякувати, отож, вони вирішили відсвяткувати.

 Пілігріми сідають у коло і промовляють молитву:

We are gathered together to give thanks to God

You have given us all that we have and we are thankful

You have given us our children and we are thankful

You have given us our food and we are thankful

You have given us eyes to see, ears to hear and we are thankful

Mouth to talk, legs to walk and we are thankful

         Bless this food. Amen.

1-й ведучий: The pilgrims invited their Indian friends to share this Thanksgiving feast. Local Indian chief and ninety Indians were present. The colonists learned from Indians  how to cook cranberries and dishes of corn and pumpkins.

2-й ведучий: Пілігріми запросили своїх індіанських друзів розділити їхню радість . На святі були присутні місцевий індіанський вождь та 90 індіанців.

Індіанці навчили колоністів як готувати журавлину та страви з кукурудзи та гарбуза.

1-й ведучий:  The Indians and the Pilgrims made friends and sang .

The more we get together, together, together,

The more we get together, the happier we'll be.

1-й ведучий : This is a family holiday. Families come together from near and far. Every family has the traditional feast. Turkey with stuffing and a pumpkin pie are the main dishes.

2-й ведучий:  Це – сімейне свято . Члени родини приїздять здалеку і зблизька .

Кожна родина має традиційний   обід. Індичка з начинкою та гарбузовий пирід є основними стравами.

1-й ведучий: Stores and homes are decorated with wreaths of dried flowers, vegetables and horns of plenty, pictures of turkeys, pilgrims and Indians.

2-й ведучий : Магазини та будинки прикрашають вінками з сухих квітів , овочами та рогами достатку , картинками, на яких зображені індички, пілігріми та індіанці.

1-й ведучий: Thanksgiving Day was proclaimed a national holiday by American Congress in 1941.

2-й ведучий: У 1941 році Американський Конгрес проголосив День Подяки національним святом.

1–й ведучий: Each letter in the word Thanksgiving means different things.

Виходять діти на сцену з великими літерами в руках.

T – is for turkey steaming golden on each table,

H – is for harvest gathered into barn and stable,

A – is for autumn hues we  marvel at each year

N – is for neighbors , friends and family we hold dear,

K – is for kindness and   blessings that we know,

S – is for smiles that greet us everywhere we go,

G – is for the golden grain and pumpkins in the fields,

I – Is for the Indians who shared the Pilgrims yield,

V – is for vision of a land of liberty

I – is for immigrants who made the dream reality,

N – is for all natural wonders – sky and birds and flowers,

G – is gratitude for all the bounty that is ours,

D – is for deer , dogs  and ducks – gifts or creations,

A – is for all of each and every one,

Y – is for  you and our families and friends and for everything we have been given.
