Мета:
- систематизувати й узагальнити вивчені тематичні лексичні одиниці з тем «Вітання», «Алфавіт», «Числа», «Тварини»,
удосконалити вміння висловлюватися за даною темою, використовувати вивчену лексику в різних мовленнєвих ситуаціях;
- розвивати пам’ять, мислення, мовлення, уяву, увагу, творчі здібності
учнів;
- виховувати повагу до англійської мови, прагнення навчатися,
пізнавати нове
Обладнання: ноутбук із записами пісень, «острови» на дошці, указка – «чарівна паличка», парасолька та капелюшок для Мері, «чарівна скринька»
Звучить мелодія «Ветер перемен» з к/ф «Мері Поппінс, до побачення!».
Виходить учитель англійської мови в образі Мері Поппінс.
T. Good morning, my dear learners, my colleagues, all guests! I’m so glad to see you today!
Напевно, ви вже здогадалися, хто я? Yes, of course. I’m Mary Poppins. I’m from an interesting book for children of an English writer , Pamela Traverse. I was born in England and decided to try myself as an English teacher. That’s why we have met today. You know that I like to make surprises and play different games with pleasure.
So, are you ready? Let’s start our holiday!

T. Are you ready to travel with me today! Сьогодні ми повинні потрапити до дивовижного «Острову англійської мови» ( «English Language Island”). Я сподіваюся, що наша подорож буде цікавою та захоплюючою!
Look at the map, please! Англія знаходиться на Британських островах. Як ми доберемось до Англії? We have no ship, we have no plane, we have no train. Oh, I know! I have a magic umbrella! Here it is! А щоб у парасольки з’явилася магічна сила, треба правильно назвати ці кольори!
( Учитель вказує на колір, учні хором відповідають)

So we are on the “English Language Island”. Thanks everybody for the participation! Сподіваюся, що наша подорож нікого не залишила байдужим і вкотре переконала, що у наш час вивчати англійську мову – це не чиясь примха чи забаганка, а це цікаво, захоплююче та необхідно!
