6. Робота з текстом

Учні отримують картки з текстом із пропущеними словами. Учитель читає текст, а учні мають записати пропущені слова, які вони почують. Потім один учні читають текст з пропущеними словами.

If you want to be always healthy, strong and look beautiful you should go in for sport. Sport makes people strong.

Sport is very popular in our country. The most popular sports in our country are football, volleyball, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, boxing and skating. There are many stadiums, swimming pools, and football fields in every town.

As for me, I like sport greatly. In summer I like to run, to swim in the river and play football. In winter I go in for skating or like to play hockey with my friends.  My father "s favourite kind of sport is tennis. We often play together.  When I go in for sport I am happy, active, full of energy and feel wonderful.

That "s why I think that sport is very important in our life.

7. Гра «guess the game»

T. I see that you are good at this topic, pupils! So let’s play a game. Your task is to guess a game. I will read you a description, listen attentively!

T. What game is played between 2 teams of eleven players?

Players kick a ball around a field trying to score a goal. The team with the most points wins. This game is very popular in our country and all over the world

T. What game is played with a small white round ball and a bat? Each team consists of 9 players. The team takes turns playing in the field and batting the ball

T. What game is played on a court with a large orange ball?

T. This game is played by 2 teams of 6 players each on an ice field?

T. There are 13 players in each team (with 7 players in play at any time, 6 field players and 1 goalie.) The game has four parts. Each part lasts eight minutes. Colour of the ball is bright yellow.

8. Робота в командах (спорт.лексика, proverbs)

Учні по черзі беруть картки з номером 1 або 2. Відповідно до номерів розбиваються по командам, обирають назву і капітана. 3 раунди: перший раунд – діти отримують картки з видом спорту і місцем проведення та мають їх з.єднати. 2 раунд – вид спорту і інвентар. 3 раунд – прислів.я (хто швидше). Перемагає та команда, яка зробила найменше помилок або взагалі виконала завдання без помилок.

Раунд 1: з.єднай вид спорту і місце проведення.

Раунд 2: в якому із цих видів спорту використовується даний інвентар.

Діти мають з.єднати початок і кінець прислів.я.
