Тема уроку: "Music in my life"

Мета:

Практична:

-   удосконалюватинавичкидіалогічного та монологічногомовлення по темі;

-   розвивати навички аудіювання;

-   практикувати учнів у читанні тексту з метою отримання загального уявлення та максимально повного і точного розуміння всієї інформації, що міститься у ньому;

-    акцентувати увагу учнів на розумінні тексту.
Розвиваюча:

-   розвивати логічне мислення учнів, їх уяву, уміння висловлювати свої
власні думки;

-   розвивати швидку мовленнєву реакцію, мовну здогадку.
Виховна:

-   виховувати любов до прекрасного світу музики; повагу до іншомовного мовлення;

-   почуття відповідальності за результати колективної роботи.

Типу року: узагальнення знань

Обладнання: магнітофон ,мікрофон, картки із завданням, картинки, висловлювання про музику, диски із записом різних видів музики, портрети композиторів.

1. Організаційний момент.

Good morning boys and girls. Glad to see you. Sit down. Are you ready to

start?

Pupils : Yes sure - So, lets begin.

As you can guess the topic of our todays lesson is "Music in my life"

2.Мотивація.    Бесіда вчителя з учнями.

Вчитель:

1. How do you feel yourselves listening to music?

2.     What emotions does it cause?

3.     Does it help you to concentrate?

4. Can you imagine your life without music? Today we are going to answer all

this questions.

We have already spoken about your favourite kinds of music, about famous

composers and their music.

Todays lesson will be devoted to music as the most mysterious art, the intellect

embodied into beautiful sounds.

By the end of the lesson you'll be able:

-         to identify main ideas and details from the text ;

-         to speak about the role of music in our lives;

-         to discuss harmful and not harmful sides of the rock music;

-         to know some information about different kinds of music;

-         we shall also try to answer the question

Why do you think it is impossible to live without music?

Do you recognize it?

Certainly, Evrybody knows it. It is the famous " Yesterday", written and

perfomed by the legendary group "Beatles" from Liverpool, Great Britain.

So the plot of our lesson deals with one of the most popular arts of nowadays -

music.

Look here children. There are some famous expressions on the blackboard.

First we shall read them and then you will match the Ukrainian equivalents to

them.

 Music is one of the most mysterious art, the intellect embodied into beautiful sounds.

Музика - одне з найтаємничіших мистецтв, розум ,втілений в чудових звуках.

То speak about music you will need some words and expressions. Make sure

that you know them. Listen and look to the following definitions and finish

them.

1.  Someone who writes music or plays musical instruments ( a musician )

2.           Someone who makes up songs and music ( a composer )

3.           Someone who sings ( a singer)

4.           A group of people who play different instruments in the theatre or in concert hall ( an orchestra)

5.           A person who leads the orchestra ( a conductor)

6.           A group of people who play popular music ( a band )

7.           A dramatic musical composition in which the words are sung is ( an opera)

8.           A group of people who gathered to listen to music ( an audience )

The world of music is marvelous. Do you agree with me ?

Yes, sure.

4. Інтерактивна вправа « Робота в малих групах постійного складу»

Вчитель:

So people like not only listening to music or watching their favourite singers and groups. Many of them play different musical instruments. Now you will read a short story about a family of musicians and do some tasks after reading.

3.           What is the role of music in our life?

4.           How often do you listen to music?

I think one of the most popular style of pop music is rock. Do you like rock music? What rock groups do you know? Звучитьзаписрок-музики.

Do you believe rock music can be harmful? Why or why not?

Give| ideas about harmful effects of rock and about positive sides of it.

Відповіді учнів.  
Harmful:                                                             

1.  Rock music is often played loud and can damage peoples ears.

2.          It can make people aggressive.

       3.  The words may cause negative emotions ( sometimes the texts are absolutely
senseless).

Not harmful:

1.  It can make people feel exited and be full of life, energy.

2.          It makes people to dancing. 

3.          It stimulates their minds and gives people creative power.

4.          Young people search for new rhythms and new styles.

       5.          The words of the songs relate to the younger people world, their hopes, dreams, disappointments and joys.

Вчитель:

Thus you see, that the rock music as well as other kinds of pop music has its good and bad sides.

Listen to the text and to the frame of music and try to guess its style.

     Звучить записна родної музики, поп та рок музики. Вчитель читає текст про кожен стиль музики. Учні відгадують та відповідають.

5. Діалогічне мовлення.

Make up your dialogue and speak about your favourite group.

Учні складають діалоги.

And now I would like that you prove that we need music. Can you answer the question: Why do you think it is impossible to live without music?
