Auction "Through the pages of fairy tales"
Object: activation of the content of the read tales: by keeping an interest in reading fairy tales in a foreign language – then practicing of oral speech skills.
Equipment: dice; hammer; "pounds"; car-points with questions; prizes for the winners.
Event progress
Rules of the game: the game is played between two teams of 10-15 people.
Each team chooses a team name and captain.
The questions of the game are divided into thematic groups according to those tales that have been read)
The choice for the answer is solved using a cube, on the faces of which the names are given topics.
Each team receives 100 capital points before the game.
Teams are bargaining for the right to answer the question on theme.
Bidding takes place in the form of an auction.
Winning team selects a question on the topic and after a 30-second discussion answers the question.
If the answer is incorrect, another team can answer the question.
After each round the jury summarizes the subtotals, and after the last round the winning team appears and an award is given.
Win that team that spent less money and earned more points.
The teacher rolls the dice and reads the topic:
- Oh, it's "the little Red Hen". Do you like it? You do! So, if you have a question about this fairy tale, you have to buy it. So the 1t lot is "The Little Red Hen" and the starting price is 10 pounds. Who wants! buy it for 10 pounds? One, two, three
- it is sold. So, you've bought the question and you've bought the right to answer it. But if your answer is wrong, the other team could give their variant.
