Тема: The world of professions.  Job  Interviews.                                       9 клас

Навчальні цілі:
- Активізувати вживання в мові учнів лексику по темі "Вибір професії" через різні види мовленнєвої діяльності: читання, говоріння, письмо;
Вдосконалювати навички усного і писемного мовлення.

Практичні:

-Удосконалювати вміння робити висновки за допомогою технології  роботи в малих групах.
Розвивальні цілі:
-Розвивати мовленєві, інтелектуальні та пізнавальні здібності, зорову й довгострокову пам'ять, увагу, уяву.
- Розвивати в учнів уміння аналізувати свої особистісні якості, стосовно  даної професії;

- Розвивати між предметні зв’язки
 - Сприяти розвитку вміння визначати професійні якості особистості.
Виховні цілі:
- Сприяти вихованню розуміння в учнів важливості і необхідності реалізації своїх умінь і здібностей через обрану професію.

Розширювати кругозір, виховувати любов до знань та бажання дізнаватися більше нового.
Обладнання: комп'ютер, мультимедійні проектор, презентація уроку.
                                      Хід уроку

І. Організаційна частина уроку.

1. Привітання. Greeting

T: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you! Sit down, please! How are you?

Ch: Good morning, teacher!

T. Who is on duty today? What day/date is it today? Describe today’s weather.

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку. Aim

Т: You know time flies and it won't be long when you finish your school. There will be some roads open before you: to continue your education in a colleague or in any lyceum, then   to find a job or  to join the army. It's up to you to decide. Your parents and teachers try to give you some advice. What will you be? Who helps you to choose your profession? The theme of our lesson concerns the world of profession and choosing the career. The epigraph of our lesson is :

“Every man is the maker of his own future”

(Richard Steele).

Do you know who is Richard Steele? He is famous  Irish writer, journalist and politics.

Imagine it’s summer and you are going to earn some money. You are  going to the job center to find some job.   You are being interviewed by a career officer. Act out the dialogue with your partner.

Work in pairs.

(If we have free time).T.-It has become a common practice to have an interview before getting a job. So, look at the advice for job interviews and make a list of things to do and not to do during the interview.

1.Put on (одягати) casual clothes for the interview.

2.Go out (піти) for a walk before the interview to relax.

3.Think about the job and write down your strengths(сила) and weaknesses(слабкість).

4.Find out (знайти) information about the company.

5.Turn up (з’явитися) at the interview a couple of minutes early.

6.Take down (робити нотатки) notes during the interview.

7.Make up (скласти) information about yourself.

8.Make out (робити вигляд) you understand something when you don’t.

9.Go into (вдаватися) a lot of detail about your personal life.

10.Speak up (розмовляти) and express yourself clearly.

11.Sit up straight and maintain eye contact. (Сідайте прямо і підтримуйте зоровий контакт)

(If students disagree about the answers, encourage them to argue the case.)

T: We talked a lot about  professions and jobs. and learnt  to behave during the job interview.  But  you must also take a good look at yourself. And remember our epigraph
