Тема:” Health is above wealth’’

Мета: активізувати лексичний матеріал у мовленні учнів, підготувати до самостійного висловлювання в рамках теми, практикувати учнів в аудіюванні тексту та розуміння прослуханого, розвивати діалогічне та монологічне мовлення,розвивати навички письма та читання , сприяти вихованню культури мовної поведінки та заохочувати учнів до здорового способу життя.

Обладнання: картки із завданнями, малюнки з видами хвороб, плакат « Лікар», картки з словами, відеозапис «Good Habits», аудіозапис пісні «If you happy».

 

Хід уроку

1. Організація класу

- Good morning, children! How are you?

- Good morning! We are fine! Thank you!

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку

- The topic of our lesson is “Health is above wealth “. During this lesson we’ll speak about health and illness. We’ll recognize lots of words and word-combinations, make up new sentences, do  lots  of exercises and play different games.

- Now look at the blackboard and match the beginning of the proverbs with their endings.

2 ) Exercise can make you strong. It can be fun and won’t take long.	You should do morning exercises.
3 ) An apple a day keeps a doctor away.	You should eat god food to stay healthy.
4 ) Brush your teeth and did you hear? See your dentist every year.	You should care of your teeth.

- Now you must tell me what should you do for your health.

 

5. Читання тексту

a) – Now let’s read the text about doctor’s advices. So open your books page 108 and exercise №2 .Let’s read and translate.

- We have read the text about the girl and she had a bad cold . Look at the pictures and tell me what’s   Jenny, Ann, Beth and other boys the matter.

D: Come in , please

A: Good morning, doctor

D: Good morning! Can I help you? What’s the matter with you?

A: Oh, doctor! I feel really ill. I feel very cold and have a terrible headache and my eyes hurt.

D: So, let’s examine you. Now show me your throat… Oh, not very well. Now I want to listen to your heart and lungs… Breath and don’t breath. Show me your eyes and ears. Hmm.

A: Oh, dear doctor! What’s wrong?

D: Well, it is a bad cold. You have to stay in bed for a week.

A: And what about medicines?

D: Of course, I’ll write a prescription and should take pills three times a day. You also must drink hot milk with butter and honey or hot tea.

A: Oh thank you doctor. I hope I will better soon.

Mark has quite a healthy life. He likes eating healthy food. He eats some fruit or green vegetables every day and he loves fish. Usually Mark gets nine hours sleep a night. Most days he goes to bed at 10 o’clock and gets up at 7 o’clock. He doesn’t like sport- he’s not very good at it. But he walks to school every day.
