 In My Classroom     

Мета :

навчальна: ознайомити з новими лексичними одиницями, активізувати вивчений лексико-граматичний матеріал , розвивати вміння та навички читання, письма та аудіювання;

розвиваюча: розвивати логічне мислення, увагу та  пам’ять, розвивати усні комунікативні уміння , логічно висловлювати думку;

виховна: виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні свої знань, скріплення учбового матеріалу з життям, загальну культуру учнів.

Обладнання:

• Флеш-картки з зображеннями предметів класної кімнати
• Маркери та плакати
• Роздаткові матеріали (картки з малюнками)

                                                       Хід уроку

Warm-up

1.Sing ‘Hello’ song along with children

2. Revise the classroom vocabulary and prepositions.

   Presentation

1. Ex. 1, p. 38. Get your pupils to open their books at page 38.

Ask pupils to listen to the CD and point to the correct picture.

Discuss the pictures. Introduce new structures pointing to objects in the classroom.

Practice

1.   Ex. 2, p. 38. Tell pupils to listen  and to repeat the poem after the speaker.

The teacher can write the words of the poem on the board. The pupils read the words of the poem, pausing after each line.Chant the poem chorally or in groups.

2. Choose a pair of students . Put the flashcards onto the board. Encourage the pupils to speak using new structures.

P1: What is this?

P2: This is a book.

P1: What is that?

P2: That is a pen.

3. Ex. 4, p. 39  Listen and repeat. 

Ask pupils to  look at the pictures of the exercise. Give them time to look at the classroom objects.Ask pupils to listen to the CD and find the classroom objects . Pupils listen and find the correct pictures.

Ask pupils to repeat the words.

4. Ex. 6, p. 39. Listen and say the chant. 

Tell pupils to look at the picture of the previous exercise and to repeat the poem using the pictures .

Play the CD. The pupils repeat the phrases. Play the CD again. Chant the poem chorally.

Summarizing

1. Ask pupils in a random order questions ‘What`s this?’ / ‘What`s that?’ pointing to the pictures on the Speaking posters on the board. Encourage children to answer ‘This/That is a …’
2. Sing ‘Goodbye’ song along with your pupils.
