Тема. Хобі. Улюблені заняття.
Мета: допомогти закріпити вживання лексичних структур у діалогічному мовленні; сприяти формуванню комунікативної та соціальної компетентностей; спонукати учнів до вживання нових лексичних одиниць через шаблони;
сприяти розвитку усних комунікативних вмінь з опорою на наочність, інтелектуальних й пізнавальних здібностей, створити умови для розвитку різних типів пам’яті – слухової, зорової, оперативної;
сприяти вихованню зацікавленості у розширенні своїх знань, вихованню значущих загальнолюдських цінностей (соціальне партнерство, толерантність, діалог).
Тип уроку: урок узагальнення та систематизації знань.
Обладнання: Підручник О. Карп’юк English 3, аудіо додаток, тематичні малюнки, м’які іграшки, картки Word Art, мультимедійна презентація.
Procedure
І. The beginning of the lesson
1. Greetings
Good morning, children!
I am glad to see you!
Let’s watch a video and then say “How are you?” (Slide 1)
Sit down, please.
How are you? (Ps answers)
2. Warm-up

3. The theme of the lesson.
T: Look at the pictures on the blackboard and say what are we going to speak about?
T: The theme of our lesson is Hobby. Say what hobbies you can see on the pictures.
T: Open your books on page 26. Try to answer What is hobby? Ex. 1 p. 26 will help you.
P: A hobby is what you like doing!
T: Well done. At our lesson today you’ll learn to tell about your hobbies. We also review words, read the dialogue and write a letter to English penfriend.
ІІ. The main part of the lesson.
At home you made up dialogues. Who desires to talk?

Pupils do a task in “learning apps”. (Match pictures with words)

After listening: What does Hans like? What is Bill’s hobby? What is Alice’s hobby?
One pupil does the task on the Smart Board. Others on the cards.

Now you are going to make dialogues using the pattern.
Read the table and make your own examples of what you like doing. (slide 5)
(At first teacher makes the dialogue with dolls, as an example)

Ps make dialogues using the example in the exercise. Then practice the dialogue in pairs. After that two or three pairs act out the dialogues.
Before reading: Pre-teach and drill the word “pen friend”.
First listen and then read the letter. (slide 6)
After reading: What is his name? How old is he? What is his hobby? Where is he from?
Write down the exercise into your copybooks. (Ps do the task and then check)
Teacher writes plus or minus on Smart Board.
Answer Toto’s questions. And then tell about yourself using the pattern. (slide 8)
ІІІ. Ending the lesson
The pupil shows a hobby, others guess it. (Slide 9)
T: How are you now? (Slide 10)
Write a letter to Toto. (ex. 4 p. 27) (Slide 11)
