Урок в 7 класі по темі "Відвідування лікаря"

   Тема  Медицина. Відвідування лікаря.

            Medicine.  At the doctor’s.

Мета:  Систематизувати знання з теми  «Медицина. Відвідування лікаря»; активізувати вживання лексичних одиниць у мовленні; вдосконалювати навички письма та аудіювання; формувати навички діалогічного мовлення на рівні  мікродіалогу.

                 Розвивати мовну здогадку, вміння працювати в парі, групі; розвивати мовленеву реакцію; сприяти розвитку творчого підходу до розв’язання мовленевих задач.

                  Стимулювати позитивну мотивацію учнів щодо вивчення англійської мови. Сприяти загальнокультурному розвитку учнів. Навчати учнів виділяти правила здорового способу життя. Виховувати свідоме ставлення до власного здоров’я.

Обладнання: тематичні картинки; звукозапис діалогу для аудіювання; тестові завдання з письма; картки з завданням для групової роботи; підручник; дошка.

Хід уроку

1. Привітання. Організаційний момент. Greeting. Т- Рs

20. Good morning, pupils! Glad to see you!

How are you today? Are you well, fine, bad? ( pupils’ answers ) I’m glad to see you today so happy and healthy. It’s necessary to take care about our health. And during our lesson we’ll speak about it. The theme of our lesson is “Medicine. At the doctor’s.” How do you think what we’ll do at the lesson? ( pupils’ answers )

2. Введення в іншомовне середовище.

 Warming-up

 Is anybody absent? Why? What`s the matter? Is he/she ill? Is it a common cold or flu? Did he/she cough/sneeze yesterday? Does he/she have a headache (sore throat, stomachache, backache, earache, toothache, temperature)?

3. Перевірка домашнього завдання. Учні називають і пояснюють прислів’я про здоров’я, які вони підібрали до уроку.

Завдання: з’єднати половинки англійських прислів’їв і знайти їх український еквівалент.

4.  Активізація лексичного матеріалу.

1.  Робота з тематичними картинками ( вчитель показує картку – учні хором називають слова по даній темі).
2.  Розставити  інтервали між словами і прочитати речення.

Т. The topic of our lesson is “At the doctor’s” that’s why let’s listen how to communicate with doctors in hospitals. Your task will be to complete the dialogue with phrases in the box.

Учні прослуховують діалог, виконують завдання, потім читають в парах, перевіряють.

6. Діалогічне мовлення. Speaking.

1. Work in pairs. Prepare a dialogue between a patient and a doctor. Use the plan:

1. Greet each other.
2. Doctor: ask what the problem is.
3. Patient: explain your symptoms.
4. Doctor: say what you think the illness is.
5. Patient: ask for the doctor  advice.
6. Doctor: give the advice.
7. Patient: thank for the doctors.
8. Say goodbye to each other.

Dialogue #1

Patient.  Good morning, doctor.

Doctor.  Good morning. What can I do for your?

Patient. I don’t feel very well. I’ve got a headache and a cough.

Doctor.  Hmm. Let me have a look.

Patient. What is it then, doctor?

Doctor.  You’ve got a flu. I’ll give you a prescription for some medicine. Take one spoonful every four hours.

Patient.  Thank you, doctor. Good bye.

Doctor. Good bye.

             

Dialogue #2

 

Doctor.  Good morning. What’s the problem?

Patient.  I have hurt in my ankle.

Doctor. When did it happen?

Patient. Yesterday. I fell over when I was playing football.

Doctor.  Hmm. Let me have a look. You need an X-ray.

Patient. Should I go today?

Doctor.  Yes. Good bye.

Patient.  Thank you, doctor. Good bye.

7. Фізкультхвилинка. Gymnastics.

Clap your hands if you hear healthy food, stamp your feet, when unhealthy:

Плескайте в долоні якщо ви чуєте здорову їжу, топайте ногами – якщо нездорову.

Apples, sandwiches, bananas, meat, milk, cheese, cola, water, potatoes, lemons, oranges, cabbage, sweets, chocolate, cake, potato-fry, fish, porridge, cookies, carrots.

 

8. Pair-work. Робота в групах.

Учні об’єднуються в три групи. Кожній групі вчитель роздає картки з завданням. Група має обговорити завдання й записати результати: що слід, а що не слід робити в даних ситуаціях.

Your friend is a weak person. He often has got a cold. Write what he should do and what he shouldn’t do.

 

Group # 2

Your sister is fat. Write what she should do and what she shouldn’t do.

 

Group # 3

Your brother has got a toothache. Write what he should do and what he shouldn’t do.

Patient: Thank you. I'm feeling ill, I've got quite a bad cough, but I don't seem to have a fever.

Doctor: I see. How long have you had these symptoms?
Patient: Oh, I've had the cough for two weeks, but feeling ill just these past few days.

Doctor: Are you having any other problems?
Patient: Well, I've got a headache. I've also had a little bit of diarrhea.

Doctor: Do you produce any phlegm when coughing?
Patient: Sometimes, but it's usually pretty dry.

Doctor: Do you smoke?
Patient: Yes, a few cigarettes a day. Certainly no more than a half a pack a day.

Doctor: How about allergies? Do you have any allergies?
Patient: Not that I'm aware of.

Doctor: Does your head feel stuffy?
Patient: Yes, for the past few days.

Doctor: OK. Now let's have a look. Could you please open your mouth and say 'ah'?
