Підтема : Відвідування музеїв та галерей в Україні.

Мета : формувати важливість оволодіння іноземною мовою і потребу користуватись нею як                                                                                        засобом спілкування, підвищувати загальну культуру учнів;

               розвивати вміння планувати свою мовленнєву діяльність, розвивати   вміння логічно викладати свою думку, розвивати уяву учнів, слухову, зорову пам'ять, довільну та мимовільну увагу;

                 виховувати почуття прекрасного, прищеплювати любов до мистецтва, культуру спілкування.    

Тип уроку: формування умінь і навичок.

                                                                     Хід уроку

1. Greeting and  Aim.

• Get ready for the lesson! Good afternoon, children! Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson.
• Today, class, we are going to speak about visiting museums and galleries in Ukraine and practice our speaking.

Warm-up. So the first, let’s discuss the following questions:

1. Do you often go to museums?
2. When did you go to a museum last?
3. Where is the museum situated?
4. Who built it?
5. What can you tell about the exhibitions of the museum?

                       Check on your hometask.

                    Ex.5 p.176 ( children describe their visit to the National Gallery in London).

– At the previous lesson we spoke about Art. Nowadays teenagers aren’t very interested in art, but I think that’s important for well- mannered person to broaden his horizon. Some of you are interested in music, sport, movie and today everyone will be envolved in the world of Art.

1. Read the dialogue and identify the participants. Act it out in pairs. ( Ex. 2 p.178)
2. Complete the dialogue with the sentences from A to E and dramatise it. ( Ex. 3 p.178)
3. Presentation new words. Vocabulary file on page 179.
4. Work in groups.

Read the information from Kyiv Guidedbook pp 180-181. Discuss it to choose one place to visit. Explain your choise to the  class.

3.  Hometask.

                Imagine you’ve visited one of the museums from pp 180-181. Describe your visit there in a written form.
