Мета:

• Навчальна: систематизувати та активізувати вивчений лексико-граматичний матеріал; засвоїти лексичні одиниці та використовувати їх у мовних блоках в монологічному та діалогічному мовленні;
• Розвивальна: розвивати навички аудіювання, монологічного та діалогічного мовлення; уміння вести бесіду, слухати співрозмовника, удосконалювати фонетику та артикуляцію звуків, мотивувати готовність брати участь  в іншомовному спілкуванні.
• Виховна: виховувати культуру мовлення та необхідності практичного застосування мови; повагу до людей, приязне ставлення до нашої культури, звичаїв та традицій; емоційне-ціннісне ставлення до всього, що нас оточує та любов до своєї країни.

Обладнання: карта України, картки зі словами для побудови речення, фото та малюнки визначних місць України та національних символів, підручник О. Карп’юк, 5 кл.

Teacher: Good morning, children!

Children: Good morning.

Teacher: How are you?

Children: We are fine.

Teacher: I am glad to see you.

Children: We are glad to see you too

• Theme. Warming-up.

Teacher: Pupils! Today we continue to study “Ukraine” and we are going to practice. For warming-up let’s do an interesting task and revise the words connected with our theme.

Answer the questions.

Read some information about national flags and nationalities and ask the questions.

• The national flag of Ukraine is blue and yellow. It is the national symbol of the country. The people in Ukraine are the Ukrainians. They speak Ukrainians.
• The National flag of Great Britain is blue, red and white. The people of Great Britain are the British. They speak English.
• The national flag of the USA is blue ,red and white. The people in the USA are the Americans. They speak English.
• The national flag of Russia is white, blue and red. The people in Russia are the Russians. They speak Russian.
• The national flag of Canada is red and white. The people in Canada are the Canadians. They speak English and French.
