Мета:

• практична: познайомити учнів з новою лексикою до теми «Їжа. Напої»; вдосконалювати фонетичні навички; розвивати вміння висловлювати власну думку у відповідності із ситуацією; сприяти повторенню та активізації граматичних структур;
• освітня: вчити учнів працювати в групі та індивідуально; учити застосовувати отримані знання в конкретній ситуації. Неозначені займенники some\any
• розвиваюча: розвивати фонематичний слух, вміння спілкуватись,

увагу, пам’ять, розвивати кругозір учнів, стимулювати їх до самостійного пошуку додаткової інформації по темі;

• виховна: виховувати в учнів культуру дозвілля та пошану і інтерес до країни та її мови; досягнення ситуації успіху кожного співучасника творчого процесу та його максимальної самореалізації.

Тип уроку: Урок ознайомлення з новими лексичними одиницями та формування лексичних навичок усного мовлення, читання, і письма.

Форми роботи: Індивідуальна, колективна.

Засоби: Комп'ютер, проектор, екран, слайди, “pupil’s worksheets”,

Урок супроводжується слайд-програмою розробленою за допомогою комп’ютерної програми Microsoft Power Point.

The structure of the lesson

I. Organizational moment (Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовної інформації)

Teacher: Good morning! Write today’s date and day. Who is absent today?

Aim. Look at the board and try to guess what shall we speak about?.(slide 1) On today`s lesson we`re going to speak about food. We`ll read a text about meals, rememmber the names of different kinds of food, work in groops .So, let`s start. (slide 2)

Warming up. Epigraph: “Eat to live, don't live to eat.” (slide 3)

1. Pre-reading activity:introducing new vocabulary

Teacher: And now let’s get acquainted with the new words .The pictures will help you with translation. (slide 13)

• meals – харчування; breakfast – сніданок;
• lunch – обід; dinner – обід;
• supper – вечеря; thirsty – хотіти пити;
• hungry – голодний; fish – риба;
• biscuit – печиво.

Meals in Ukraine

Ukrainian people take four meals a day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper. Breakfast is the first meal in the day. Lunch is a light meal in the middle of the day. Dinner is the chief meal. The evening meal is called supper.

Twelve o’clock is the time for lunch in our vocational school. Pupils are running to the school cafe. They are thirsty and very hungry. Today we have some potatoes and some fish, a glass of tea and some biscuits for our lunch. There are also burgers, pizzas and salads. Pupils can buy tea, or coffee. I like to buy croissants.

We like to have lunch at school.
