 Тема уроку: "Подорожі"

Мета уроку: сприяти розвитку в учнів уміння:

- описувати пам'ятки культури України, різних країн світу.

- розуміти інформацію через незнайомий текст при читанні і аудіюванні.

- запитувати та надавати інформацію.

- використовувати ІКТ

в усіх видах мовленнєвої діяльності, спираючись на мовний інвентар за темою "Подорожі" та граматичний матеріал "Модальні дієслова".

На кінець уроку учні вмітимуть:

- використовувати країнознавчий матеріал у монологічному мовленні при описуванні визначних місць Києва, країн світу;

- розв'язувати комунікативні проблеми у діалогічному мовленні за ситуаціями "На вокзалі", "Випадкова зустріч";

- самостійно працювати з підручником при виконанні граматичного завдання;

- застосовувати вивчений лексико-граматичний інвентар під час читання та аудіювання незнайомих текстів;

- оцінювати культурні надбання України та країн світу та шанобливо ставитися до них.

I. Try to guess what is the topic of our lesson ( перегляд відеороліків)

II. Teacher: A month ago you made different trips or journeys. Some of you went to the villages, others- to different cities or maybe to some exotic countries. So let`s repeat the words and word combinations you need to speak about adventures.

III. Your task is to match English words with the Ukrainian equivalents ( на дошці з'являється завдання)

V. Your starting point of the trip can be from the air or river port, from the railway station or from your own home if you travel by car.

   Now imagine you are at some of these places. (Учні отримали картки із ситуаціями).

a) At the railway station

   Make up a dialogue

A: Good morning. Excuse me, when does the train Odesa Lviv arrive?

B: Good morning. This train arrives at 11a.m.

A: Oh, in 10 minutes. What platform does it come to?

B: Platform 4.

A: Could you tell me where there`s a florist`s. I want to buy a bunch of flowers for my granny.

B: It`s the next hall. Good luck.

A: Thank you. Have a nice day.

b) At the bus station

A: Good afternoon! Excuse me, I`d like a bus ticket to Kyiv on the 4th of February.

B: Good afternoon! Single or return?

A: A single one. Could you tell me, please, what station does the bus pass?

B: It passes Fastiv and Mironivka stations.

A: How much does the ticket cost?

B: 150 hryvnas.

A: Here is 200 hryvnas.

B: Take your ticket and a change of 50 hryvnas, please.

A: Thank you.

c) A meeting.

А: Hi Sveta, I'm glad to see you.

B: Me too.

A: How was your trip?

B: Fantastic!

A: Did you go to the Azov Sea?

B: Yes, we did. We spent a week at the seaside.

A: Did you stay at the hotel? What was it like?

B: It was super. We had all accomodations.

A: What were the people like?

B: They were very friendly.

A: Lucky you are.

VI. And now we suggest you to make an excursion about London.

The Places to Visit

London is the capital of England. It is its political and business centre. The heart of London is the City. It is the oldest part of London. Many people work in the City. It is the oldest part of London. There are many banks and offices there. You can visit some interesting places in the City. One of them is the Tower of London. The Tower of London was a fortress, a palace and the King's zoo. Now it is the museum.

One of the greatest English churches is St. Paul's Cathedral. It is not far from the Tower of London. It was built in the 17th century. It is a beautiful building with many towers. In one of its towers there is one of the largest bells in the world.

The centre of London is Trafalgar Square. It is the most beautiful place in London. In the middle of the square you can see a monument to Admiral Nelson. There are two beautiful fountains in the square. They are in front of the National Gallery.

It is one of the best picture galleries of the world. Every day many tourists visit this fine building with tall columns.
