Тема : “Шкільне життя”

Підтема : “Моє навчання у школі”
Мета уроку:

1. Практикувати учнів в монологічному та діалогічному мовленні в знайомих і нових ситуаціях на основі вивченої лексики і структур.
2. Продовжити формування навичок усного мовлення використовуючи сучасні методики та інтерактивні технології.
3. Розвивати мовну здогадку, логічне мислення, пам’ять учнів
4. Виховувати в учнів позитивне ставлення до школи, до навчання, зацікавленість в розширенні своїх знань.

Мовний матеріал: лексика і структури по темі.

Засоби навчання: підручник О. Карпюк, «Англійська мова 8 клас», картки з лексикою та завданнями для парної та групової робіт.

План уроку:

1.Організаційний момент:
-Good morning, children!

2. Введення в мовне середовище:
Бесіда з учнями про шкільне життя
- School plays a great role in our life. You not only enrich your knowledge about the surrounding world, but learn how to practice your life skills, how to combine work and leisure, how to cope with difficulties you can face, how to communicate with people.
-Answer my questions: Запитання для учнів:

• Do you like to go to school?
• Is your school life interesting?
• Do you take part in any school events?

3. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку:

• Our today’s topic is “School life”
  Today we’ll continue our talk about your school life, your favourite subjects, your school clubs, your activities at school. We’ll remember the words on the topic and practise them in texts, games, dialogues and exercises.
• Our today’s lesson is the competition between your 3 groups. You will get points for your answers and at the end of our lesson we’ll know the winner.

8. Вправа “Запитання - відповідь”:

• Make up some questions on the topic and ask these questions to each other. We work in pairs.
  Учні працюють в парах, складають запитання на тему з використанням вивченої лексики, та відповідають на них.

9. Діалогічне  мовлення “Moving dialogue”:

• And now make two lines. The pupils of the first line ask questions, the pupils of the second line answer the questions. When I say: “Stop, change!”- you take step right.
  Учні утворюють  дві лінії, одна лінія задає питання, інша відповідає. Коли вчитель говорить: “Стоп! Міняємося” – учні роблять крок вправо і обмінюються партнерами.

10. Рольова гра “Мій новий одноклассник”:
And now we have a role play. Imagine that Ann is your new classmate. Meet her. Ask her your questions about school life.

Учні знайомляться з новим однокласником і задають свої питання. Варіанти запитання учнів:

1. Do you like your school life?

Yes, I do. I like my school life.

2. Why do you like your school life?

I like my school life because I not only enrich my knowledge about the surrounding world, I practise my life skills at school. I communicate with my classmates.

3. What is your favourite subjects?

My favourite subjects are Maths, Ukrainian, English.

4. Why do you like studying English?

I like studying English because the knowledge of foreign languages is very important nowadays.

5. What do you do at the English lessons?

We learn new words and structures, do grammar exercises, read and listen to the texts and discuss them, learn large dialogues by heart, play games, write compositions, listen to the songs and sing them.

6. Do you have any new subjects this year?

Every year we have some new subjects. This year we have Chemistry, Physics.

7. What subjects are you good at?

I am good at History, Biology, Maths, English.

8. What subjects are you bad at?

I am bad at Russian and Chemistry.

9. Do you take part in any school events?

Yes, I do. I like to take part in our school events, because they are very interesting.

10. Do you always get good marks?

No, I don’t. Sometimes I get bad marks.

2.          I should be attentive and active at the lessons, but I shouldn’t talk with my classmates at the lessons.
3.          I should keep good discipline, but I shouldn’t play with a mobile phone at the lessons.

“My school”

I am going tell you about my school . My school is new and modern and I like it very much. It has three floors . The classrooms are light and spacious. There are classrooms for different subjects , such as English, History, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geography, Biology, Literature etc.

There is a computer class in our school. We study computer science here. The computer class has the most modern equipment and the Internet access.

We’ve also an assembly hall, which is situated on the second floor. Meetings, conferences, concerts and all the celebrations take place here. We prepare different performances for all holidays. We sing songs, recite poetry, dance, and participate in theatre performances.

There are many opportunities to go in for sports in our school. Our school has a gym, a sports ground, a football field, a swimming pool, and other sports facilities. There are many different sports groups: table tennis, swimming, athletics, football, volleyball, wrestling, and rhythmic gymnastics. Many pupils of our school attend these sports groups. The teachers in our school are very skilled. They try to give us all their knowledge and awake our interest to their subjects and to self study. Besides the school subjects, our teachers tell us about everything, about different problems of our world, such as ecology, nature protection, climat changes etc.

There is a good tradition in our school. Every year people who graduated our school come here to meet their teachers and classmates. These meetings take place every first Saturday of February.

I think that school years are very important for every person. It’s a period of becoming adult, achieving knowledge, and choosing your way in life. Often school friends remain your friends for all your life. So I’ll never forget  my school, my teachers, and my classmates.
