Тема: Визначні місця Лондона.

Підтема: Голоса Лондона.     

 

Цілі: практичні: 1)активізувати та закріпити вживання лексичного матеріалу в мовленні учнів;

2) поглибити знання учнів про відомих людей Великобританії та визначні місця Лондона;

3) навчати діалогічному та монологічному мовленні за темою;

4) розвивати навички аудіювання;

5)розвивати вміння читати і розуміти текст, використовуючи мовну здогадку з опорою на контекст;

6) практикувати у вживанні Past Simple,неправильних дієслів;

7) практикувати учнів ставити питання спеціального типу у минулому простому часі.

розвиваючі:1) розвивати вміння сприймати інформацію на слух та виконання після текстових завдань;

2) розвивати творчу увагу;

3) розвивати готовність учнів до участі в іншомовному мовленні, до подальшої самоосвіти в оволодінні іноземною мовою;

4) розвивати пізнавальну активність

виховні: 1) почуття поваги до пам’яток культури в пізнанні світової культури;

2) виховувати культуру спілкування і колективної співпраці;

3) виховувати толерантність, активність, доброзичливість;

4) розширити кругозір учнів з історії Великобританії.

 

Обладнання: зошити, підручник “Англійська мова 7 клас” Пахомова Т.Г., Методика, Киев,2015, презентація, картки для індивідуальної та групової роботи, відеозапис про Шекспира( https://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org), мультимедійна дошка, портрети відомих людей Великобританії, роздатковий матеріал.

І. Початок уроку.

1.Організаційний момент. Повідомлення теми, цілі й завдань уроку.

 Т-Good day boys and girls! I’m glad to see you. Look at the blackboard. The topic of our lesson is “Voices of London”. We’ll get to know some facts about famous people who lived in the past and lives in Great Britain now.

 

2. Привітання (структура Team Cheer).Введення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Today we are going to work in groups. Do you like working in groups? Now it’s Team Cheer. Let’s greet each other. Give High Five. First shoulder partners, then face partners, diagonal partners. Hold your hands.You should complete our motto. Well, are you ready? Let’s start!

3.Мовленнєва зарядка (структура Teambuilding).

Well, every team chooses your leader. Ready? Who is the leader of your team? OK. Every group has a sheet of paper. Fold like an airplane or a triangle. The leader must ask to everyone: Why would you like to visit London? If you agree with your partner, you would like to visit London for the same reason as your partner, you’ll show this gesture “like”. If you disagree you’ll show the gesture “dislike”. Please write in the left corner- 1(it means one of us would you like to visit London because he wants to……), in the right-2(it means two of us), in the middle –the word everybody (all agree),below-3(it means three of us) and team’s slogan. The team’s slogan contains answers which everybody says.

Do you understand me? OK .Look at the slide 3 from a presentation.

-to see the royal family;

-to do the shopping;

-to see famous people;

-to communicate with native speakers;

Now please close your eyes and imagine you are in London. Open your eyes. Welcome to London!

 Your homework was acting the dialogues. The main question of these dialogues is how can I get to……? Now let’s check. Act the dialogues near the blackboard.

 

Dialogue 1

-Excuse me; is the London Eye near here?

-Yes, it is. You go straight on. Turn right. Go over the bridge. Then it’s on your left. You can’t miss it.

_Thank you. Let’s go!

Dialogue 2

-Excuse me. Can you tell me how do I get to the Tower of London, please?

-Take the bus.

-Where is the nearest bus stop?

-Take the first turning on the left, then the second turning on the right.

-Thank you.

-Excuse me. I’m looking for Dover Street.

-Dover Street? It’s not far from here. Go down there. Then there is a post-office. After the post-office turn left-that’s Stafford Street. Dover Street is at the end of Stafford Street.

-Let’s get the tube to the train station. Have you got the tube map?

-Yes, I have. We’re here and the train station is here.

-Ok. Come on. Let’s go Madame Tussauds museum.

-Where is it?

-It’s on Marylebone Road, just one minute walk from Baker Street underground station.

2.Активізація навичок монологічного мовлення.

What is Madame Tussauds famous for? Nowadays Madame Tussauds museum is very popular in London. You have the text about famous people. Skim over the text and guess: who is this famous person? Ready? What is the text about? (Elizabeth 2, David Beckham, William Shakespeare).

Imagine you are in the Madame Tussauds museum. Who wants represent Elizabeth2, David Beckham, William? There are some things belonging to these people (crown, fan, quill ink pen, ball).

 P1-I’m Elizabeth 2 the Queen of Great Britain. I was born in Windsor on 21 April 1926. My full name is Elizabeth-Mary-Alexander Windsor. I am married Prince Philip. I’m crowned in Westminster Abbey on 2 June 1953. I have got four children. I have five official residences in Britain; Buckingham Palace and Windsor among them. Now I play an important role in my country. I travel a lot.

P2-I am an English football player who has played for Manchester United and Real Madrid. When I helped the youth team to win several trophies and made my first team debut in 1995. I helped my team achieve success in my eleven seasons. I won many trophies with Manchester United, including the Champions League, and won a league title with Real Madrid. I am captain of my club and country. My home is Webley Stadium. It’s the famous stadium in the world. It’s a heart of football.

P3-I’m a famous English poet and playwright William Shakespeare. I’m an actor too and work at the Globe Theatre. I wrote comedies, tragedies, sonnets. My famous works are A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Henry V, Hamlet. I love English and invented a lot of new words and expressions.

3.Тренування учнів в аудіюванні (структура Simultaneous Rally Table).

a). Перегляд фільму про Шекспира.

-You should watch and listen the story about William Shakspeare. Then do the task according to the text. Ready? Look at the slide 6.

b). Перевірка розуміння змісту побаченого (письмове завдання, структура Simultaneous Rally Table).

You have cards. Put sentences in correct order. Exchange your cards and check. Look at the slide 7/8. Read, translate and correct your mistakes.

1. William Shakespeare was born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, in England.

2.William left school when he was 14 or 15.

3.Three years later he married Anne Hathaway and they had three children.

4.Sometime before 1590 he left Stratford and went to London.

5.He worked in London as an actor and then started writing plays. 

6.He helped build a new theatre called The Globe, which opened in 1599.

7.He wrote at least 38 plays, and was rich and famous.

8.He died when he was 52 on 23 April 1616.

Do you know the story about gunpowder plot and its leader Guy Fawkes? You have some pictures and your task is complete the story about the important event of the history of Great Britain.

2)Етап читання.

 

3)Етап перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

 Go to the blackboard and put the pictures in correct order. Who wants to be volunteer? In the text find English equivalents.
