     Nowadays cinemas have become very popular .Many people prefer to watch films in the cinemas. Modern cinemas in great cities are comfortable and well-planned buildings .They have got several screens so people can  choose films they  want to see at the same time . They are multi-screen complexes with a wide selection of films .There are also several shows in each cinema and the tickets for the late shows are usually cheaper. There is a discount for young children, students and old age pensioners. You can buy tickets in the booking-office before the shows, or order them beforehands on internet or by phone. The usher shows you your seat in the auditorium. You get information about the films you are going to see from the synopsis. The seats in the modern cinemas are comfortable. You can also have a snack in the bar or buy some pop corn or a coke and eat them during the show. But don’t drop litter, because you can be fined. Drive-in cinemas are very popular in the USA. You can watch a film straight from your car there.

     I was very impressed by new version of the film “Avatar”, which was released one year ago .  The plot is absolutely exciting, because this fantasy  film is one of the most favourite ones . The subject is based on fighting people, which wanted to get a magic stone from the planet called Pandora. The film was directed  by James Cameron, who used 30 million dollars for special effects .We can see the fantastic animals ,plants and native people.  The villain of the film is an old soldier, who wants to destroy a native tribe. He created artificial beings to explore the planet. A disabled soldier Jack Sally agreed to take part in this experiment and he had fallen in love with leader’s daughter. I like this story very much, because it has a  happy-end. Starring actors(Sam Wartington, Soya Sandana) are absolutely  amazing and the make-up  was exciting.So  I’d recommend watching it to everybody.
