Мета: автоматизувати вміння і навички учнів з теми з опорою на вивчені лексичні одиниці, розвивати навички читання, письма, говоріння, розвивати в учнів вміння спілкуватися про погоду, розвивати пам'ять, мислення, уяву, виховувати естетичні смаки.

Обладнання: плакат «ABC», підручник, зошит, словник, картки з порами року, малюнки дітей, роздатковий матеріал, відео з піснею «How’s the weather?», аудіозапис «Walking, walking».

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1. Привітання

T: Good morning, children! Nice to see you! How are you?

Ps: Good morning, teacher! Nice to see you, too!  I am fine, thank you!

2. Оголошення теми й мети уроку

T: Today we are going to talk about seasons and weather.

3. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу

T: Look at this picture. Do you know what season is it? What is the colour of this season?( spring, summer, autumn,winter).

Do you know the poem about seasons and colours. Let’s recite it:

Spring is green,

Summer is bright,

Autumn is yellow,

Winter is white.

- What season is it now?

- It isautumn now.

- Do you like autumn?

- I like autumn.

- What are autumn month?

-Autumn month are September, October, November.

- What is the weather like today?

- It is cold. It is cloudy. It is windy.

- Do you like todays weather?

- I like todays weather.

ІІ. Основна частина уроку

1. Фонетична зарядка.

Look at the blackboard. There is a small poem about the weather. I’ll read it:

When the weather is wet,

We must not fret,

When the weather is warm,

We must not storm.

-What is the first letter of each line? – W.

- And what is the sound? ( w)

Let’s pronounce it correctly.

2.Робота в групах.

Open your copy books and write down today’s date and classwork. I’ll give you marple leaves  with words. Your task is to put the words in correct order and to make up the sentences. Write down them in your copybooks.

We can sledge and ski in winter.

It is hot and sunny in summer.

There are many flowers in the parks in summer.

3. Завдання на дошці.

Look at the words on the blackboard, find the odd word:

Winter, spring, July, autumn

Rainy, windy, cold, green

Warm, November, September, April

Jump, hot, swim, play

4. Пісня.

Now let’s sing a song about weather.

5. Читання.

Open your books at page 12, exercise 3.

7. Загадки.

a) The weather is fine. The sun shines brightly in the sky. It is hot. There are many flowers in the parks and gardens. Children like this season very much.  (summer)

b) The sky is blue. The birds come back from the South and sing songs. You can see first green leaves and green grass. It is warm. (spring)

c) It snows and it is cold. Children can skate and sledge. They make snowmen. People celebrate one of the best holidays of the year. (winter)

d) The sky is grey. It often rains. The leaves on the trees are yellow, red and brown. The birds fly away to the South. The sun doesn’t shine brightly. (autumn)

8. Правдиві, неправдиві речення.
