Тема. Повсякденні страви. Правильне харчування.
Мета:
ввести та активізувати лексичний матеріал теми, тренувати учнів у вживанні ЛО, формувати навички монологічного мовлення на рівні мікровисловлювання, ввести і практикувати вживання дієслів, які виражають почуття із прикметниками; розвивати комунікативні навички, мовну здогадку, уяву, пам’ять, увагу учнів; виховувати усвідомлення важливості правильного харчування.
Тип уроку: засвоєння нових знань.
Обладнання: підручник, зошити, словники, картинки, картки, проектор, ноутбук, аудіо-колонка.
Хід уроку
І. Актуалізація опорних знань:
1. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

T: Who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What date is it today? Write the date in your exercise-books. Today we have some guests in our classroom. But it is a usual lesson and you mustn’t be afraid of anything.

T: Today we’re going to learn new words. All of them are adjectives and they mean our taste.

T: I have a question for you – do you like eating out?

T: Now we are going to listen carefully to the conversation in a restaurant and then using the names of the dishes from the conversation we will do some tasks. Ok? Well, you will listen to the conversation twice.

T: Now it’s time to listen to it again. While listening write down, please, the names of the dishes from the dialogue.

T: Let’s check which dishes you have got.

T: You are good listeners, thanks for your answers. Now I am giving you the menu from our listening. Your task is to make phrases using the adjectives from the blackboard with the words from the menu. For example, I can see an ice-cream in the desserts section, then I think about its taste. So, ice-cream is sweet. Is the task understandable?

T: Today you are going to learn the using of the verbs related to senses + adjectives. You have already known some of them like to feel, to hear, to look, to see, to sound. New verbs related to senses are to smell and to taste.
Verbs related to the senses are: to feel, to hear, to smell, to look, to see, to taste, to sound.
They are followed by adjectives as you have already understood from the examples given on the blackboard.
e.g. The cake smells delicious. This coffee tastes bitter.
