Greece Time: the third millennium BCPlace: the territory of modern Greece, the shores of the Mediterranean, Black and Azov Seas. Achievements: birthplace of world democracy, western philosophy, the basic principles of architecture, sculpture, poetry, physics, mathematics, theatre and Olympic Games. First educational institutions - schools for children.

China Time:was at its height in 202 BC Place:was located in Southern Asia. Achievements:paper, printing, printed book, paper money, gunpowder, magnetic compass, many pieces of art, culture, industry, science.

Egypt Time:about 3 thousand BCPlace:was located in North-East Africa on the Nile River. Achievements:is famous for pyramids and irrigation system, papyrus, sculptural portrait, the art of making mummy, knowledge of astronomy, medicine and mathematics. The first string musical instruments-a lyre and a harp.

Ancient Rome Time:in 200 BCPlace:occupied Europe, Asia, some parts of Africa - the biggest Empire of the world Achievements:a system of law, in architecture -huge archways, glass walls, ceilings. This civilization invented concrete, stone roads, sewerage system, a system of city running water, aqueduct, water mills, warm floors, pontoon bridges.
