Тема уроку: World of professions

Мета уроку:

Практична: формувати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць

у мовленні. Продовжувати формування навичок діалогічного мовлення та аудіювання. Удосконалювати навички вимови, усного мовлення й письма.

Розвиваюча: розвивати вміння логічно будувати мовлення та

аналізувати інформацію, робити висновки, брати участь в інтерактивних

ситуаціях; розвивати мовну здогадку;

Виховна: виховувати спостережливість та увагу, відчуття

відповідальності за свої рішення, прищеплювати любов до праці.

Обладнання: дошка, підручник, роздатковий матеріал, мультимедійне обладнання.

I  Introduction. Warming up

T. Good afternoon, students!

How are you? It’s nice to see you today.

 Let’s take a motto for our lesson such words.

“ Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”.

How do you understand this quotation?

So, you’ve understood that our today’s topic is «The world of professions» and,

what more, during lesson we are going to find out what skills a person needs to do

his (her) job well, what professions are the most demanded nowadays.

II Brainstorming

T. To start the lesson you need to encode the key word PROFESSIONS. To do this you should name as many jobs for each letter as you can

(Students name jobs)

E.g. P- postman, pilot, photographer, programmer

R-receptionist

O- operator

F-fireman, farmer

E-engineer, economist

S-seller, spy, spaceman

S- soldier, surgeon

I-Interpreter

O-official

N-nurse, nanny

S- social worker, scientist

III. Speaking

T. Guess the names of the job and choose qualities these jobs require

Active, attentive, brave, careful, caring, creative, disciplined, fair, honest, punctual

reliable, skillful, smart, sociable.

Presentation of project works

T. Your home task was to prepare the project “My future profession”. We would like to know about your future. Some students will present their projects and tell us about their dreams.
