         практична: 1) ознайомити учнів з минулим доконаним часом та особливостями його вживання.; 2) вдосконалювати навички усного мовлення, письма і читання; 3удосконалювати навички вживання лексичних одиниць з теми;

 розвиваюча: розвивати соціокультурну компетенцію, мовну здогадку й мовленнєву реакцію учнів;

                 виховна: виховувати свідоме прагнення вести здоровий спосіб життя, любов до праці;

Обладнання: підручник, робочий зошит, прислів’я про їжу, картки для роботи в групах, в парах.

Хід уроку

1. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання . 

T: Good morning, boys and girls! How are you? I’m very glad to see you at our lesson.

Ps: Good morning teacher! We are glad to see you, too. We are fine, thank you.

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

T: Today we are going to learn a new grammar tense PAST PERFECT TENSE, to do a lot of exercises to practice it, to read the text ,to write and to speak. And the motto of our today’s lesson is” We eat to live but not live to eat” Now let’s start our lesson.

3. Перевірка домашнього завдання.

Match the parts of the proverbs

An apple a day keeps	the doctor away
Don’t live to eat,	but eat to live
Appetite comes	with eating
Eat with pleasure,	drink with measure
After dinner sit a while,	after supper walk a mile

T: Let’s translate and discuss these proverbs.

T: complete table manners with “Don’t” where necessary.

A DAY WITH GRANDPA

The smell of coffee and home-smoked ham woke Justin. His grandpa was cooking breakfast downstairs. Justin jumped out of a bed and quickly put on his clothes.

Grandpa had hot pancakes, apple jelly and ham all ready for the table.

“They taste delicious, aren’t they?” grandpa asked.

“Of course, they are,” Justin answered.

After breakfast, grandpa cleared the table, preparing to wash the dishes.

“Would you rather wash or dry?” he asked Justin.

“Neither,” Justin replied.

Grandpa said nothing. He slowly removed the dishes from the table. After that he washed each dish and rinsed it with care, too.

After washing the dishes, grandpa swept the floor and then went upstairs.

Justin stood around downstairs. He had a strange feeling of guilt and wished he had helped with the dishes.
