A Poem About Ukraine

What is your native country?

What is your national emblem?

What is your national flag?

Do you know your national anthem?

My native country is Ukraine,

It is a land of fertile fields,

It is a place of human freedom,

Diligence and true beliefs.

Trident is the emblem of my nation,

Which dates back to Kyivan Rus’

It serves as a symbol of power,

Like a weapon, it protects us.

My national flag is awesome!

From infancy, I admire it.

The blue symbolizes sky,

The yellow represents wheat.

My national anthem is solemn,

This song is known in the world.

For each of us it is brand new

Though it is aged, quite old.

There are four basic questions,

Four simple answers are given.

Ukraine is a land of mine,

The place which I live in!
