                       The farmer’s son

Mr. Smith lives on a farm. He is a farmer. He has got a son. His son’s name is Jack. He is eleven. Mr. Smith has a lot of work. So he gets up very early in the morning every day. His son usually helps him. He takes their horse for a walk. The horses name is Red, because it is red.

Every morning the farmer says to his son: “Jack, wake up, look at the clock! It is six o’clock. It is time to take Red for a walk.”

Jack doesn’t want to get up. He wants to sleep, but he gets up, washes his face and hands, and off he goes with Red.
