The subject: First Steps in English.

 The Objectives: 1.To revise the lexical units on the topics “Numbers”, “ Colours”, “Toys”, “School things”;

2. To develop learners’ speaking, writing, listening comprehension skills;

3.To develop memory, logical thinking, imagination;

4.To bring up interest to learning English.

 The Equipment: cards with school things and colours ,  toys, multimedia system,  a lapbook.

The procedure of the lesson.

I. The introductory part.

    1.1 Greeting.

Тeacher: Hello, my children.

Pupils:  Hello , my teacher!

Teacher: I am glad to see you.

Pupils:  We are glad to see you too.

Pupils and teacher sing and dance greeting songs

    1.2. Warming-up.

 The teacher and pupils make a circle and sing.

   The pupils say their names and show it with gestures, and ask classmates: How are you  today? (Teacher uses a toy)                                                           

    II.  The main part of the lesson.

1. Aim

Тeacher: Сьогодні у нас діти дуже цікавий та особливий урок.  Ми повторимо  назви кольорів, іграшок, шкільних речей та циферки. Ми будемо працювати, гратися,  співати та отримувати бонуси, які ви зможете обміняти у наших канцтоварах у класі.

Activity 1  Revision of numbers and toys.

Тeacher: Let `s watch the video!

The pupils sing and dance, and then the teacher divides the pupils into groups.

Тeacher:  It `s  our magic box.

Let`s open it!

What is it?

Pupils: It is a………….

Teacher: Let`s listen  to the record .  (The teacher gives the worksheet to each pupil) 

Pupils listen once more and check.

  Then they show their favorite toy.

Activity 2  Revision of colours.

Teacher: What colour is it?( The teacher uses cards.)

Pupils: It is………….

Teacher: Let`s watch the video and show your cards. ( The teacher gives the box of cards to each pupil.)

Relaxation.

III. Summing up.
