To repeat the vocabulary on the topic “Food”; use in practice the Present Simple Tense; complete sentences using some, any, much, many.

Learning Goals

 to activate some words and word-combinations in speaking;

 to practice in making sentences in using Present Simple;

 to improve students` creative abilities;

 to practice students` speaking, reading, listening and speaking skills;

 to focus on advanced learning English;

 to practice students in pair activities.

Lesson procedure:

1. Greeting and Warming up

T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. How are you today?

P:

T: That’s nice that you are fine. Can you tell me what is the season now?

P:

T: Great! And which fruits and vegetables are popular to pick up now?

P:

T: Well done! Do you know any short poems or songs about these vegetables?

 

 

Phonetic drill.

T. Look at this rhyme "Apples” and complete with the missing verbs.

Apples … sour.

Apples … sweet.

Apples  … juicy.

And nice to eat.

T. Do you like apples?

Ps. Yes, we do.

2. Main part

      Today we’ll speak about food. We are going to play, sing, dance, read, write and speak English. At the end of our lesson you will get marks.

3. Look at the blackboard and let’s make the sentences about children’s likes and dislikes. Use Present Simple. For example: Mary likes apples. Nick doesn’t like oranges.
