Onion Rings

Rules / description

21st century skills

         students make 2 circles

         students in the inner circle face outwards;

         students in the outer circle should face inwards

         each student in the inner circle should be facing a student in the outer circle

         students in the inner circle ask questions; those in the outer circle – answer

         teacher gives signals when to pass the sheets of paper with questions

(clockwise or anticlockwise)

Rules / description

21st century skills

       students are divided into 2 (more) teams; line up in rows;

       the first student gets the tusk from the teacher (written word or a flash card with a picture) and whispers it to the next student;

       the second student whispers the word to the third and so on till the end of the row;

       children say what they heard starting with the last student;

       the teacher can change students order after every task.

Rules / description

         children are divided into groups-islands; every student in the group has his own number;

         teacher plans and prepare the task on the back side of the blackboard (list of words or pictures); every team has the same set of words/pictures on the desk;

         children in turn come to the blackboard and watch the order of the

words/pictures and make their own list on the poster;

         they must mot run!

         teacher must not take away the first word after the first student.

         children are divided into groups; each group has a leader;

         there are many subjects/toys on the teacher’s table;

         the leader gets the task (what subject his team has to gather into the basket);

         the leader says only one word to each student

(fruit/vegetables/toys/blue subjects/orange subjects so on);

         students in turn gather subjects into the basket.
