The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. The Houses of Parliament is the home of the British government. Members of Parliament are also called MPs. People choose them in elections every 4 to 5 years. Big Ben is the name of the bell inside the Clock Tower which forms part of the Houses of Parliament.
The Tower of London. It was a fortress, a royal palace and later a prison. It is a museum now. There are a lot of interesting collections in the Tower of London. The ravens are another famous sight. The legend says that without them the Tower will fall. The Raven Master is the person who gives them food.
The Millennium Bridge The Millennium Bridge is a bridge over the River Thames. It has got the nickname – Wobbly Bridge. When it first opened in 2000, thousands of people who walked across felt a gentle movement underfoot. The bridge was closed, the problem fixed and it was reopened on 2 February 2002.
