Конкурс для знавців англійської мови ''Happy English''

 

Мета:

- підвищувати мотивацію учнів до вивчення іноземної мови;

- систематизувати знання з англійської мови;

- розвивати навички діалогічного та монологічного мовлення;

- сприяти розвитку міжкультурної компетенції;

- продовжувати формувати навички сприйняття на слух іноземного мовлення;

- виховувати інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови.

Форма заходу: конкурс

Обладнання: Проектор, ноутбук, презентація PowerPoint, магнітофон, картки з завданнями, предмети класного вжитку.

1.Captain’s quiz

-You’ve been studying English for six years.You know some facts about England ,

it’s customs and traditions.To check your knowledge you must do some tests. One correct  and quick answer is a point.Look at the board.Let’s start!(Power point)

2.Jumble words

-So,you see,our captains are clever.Now let’s check how can they organize the work

In teams .You must run to the table with a task on it with a ball between legs and unscramble the words(one for each member).One correct answer is a point.(Music plays…)

3.The telephone is out of order

Now let’s check how well do you understand each other.Stand in a line one after another,back to back in some distance.The first pupil receive a task –it’s a sentence which he must read attentively,remember and then say it to the next pupil without moving from his distance.The last pupil must write the sentence on the sheet of paper.

4.Understand me

  It’s a famous kind of competition and four members of each team can try their abilities in miming.Take a card with a word on it and mime it to another team.Their task is to recognize  the word  correctly  .For each correct word you’d get a point.

5.Making words

Each member of your team gets a letter.You have to make as many words from one word as it possible.
