Topic: Clothes and fashion

Objective:

  • Expand students' vocabulary related to topic.
  • Develop  communication skills through dialogues and monologues.
  • Foster creative thinking and imagination.
  • Cultivate respect for family and its members.

Equipment: English textbook, handouts, blackboard

Procedure:

  1. Warm-up (5 minutes)

TASK 1

Teacher introduces basic items of clothing (shirt, pants, dress, skirt, shoes, hat, etc.)

Then asks students to describe  different clothing styles and express their preferences

 

TASK 2 Game «What am I wearing?»

Student describes each other clothes while the others are trying to guess the owner of clothes

 

TASK 3

Teacher divides the class into pairs. One student describes their imaginary outfit, and the other draws it.

 

Task 4

Students complete the diagram with items of clothes.
