Урок англійської мови

у 8 класі

“Welcome to Great Britain“

Тип уроку: формування навичок і вмінь.

Мета: активізувати вміння та навички мовлення, використовуючи лексику з теми; практикувати учнів в аудіюванні з метою отримання максимально повного й точного розуміння всієї інформації; вдосконалювати навички читання та поповнити словарний запас у процесі роботи над текстом; розвивати логічне мислення, мовну здогадку, навички класифікації та узагальнення; розширити знання учнів про Велику Британію, розвивати інтерес та виховувати повагу до традицій і країни, мову якої вони вивчають.

Обладнання: карта Великої Британії, учнівські проекти, роздавально-дидактичний матеріал, комп’ютер, інтерактивна дошка.

Форма проведення: урок-захист проектів.

Тип проекту:

1. за видом діяльності: практико-орієнтований
2. за змістом: міжпредметний
3. за характером партнерських взаємодій: кооперативний
4. за часом проведення: короткостроковий.
5. За метою та характером проектної діяльності: інформаційний

Методи і прийоми: робота в групах, парах; метод проектів.

Етапи реалізації:

• підготовчий етап (підготовка учнів до роботи; визначення проблеми; формулювання мети та завдань щодо її розв’язання; визначення форми кінцевого продукту; висунення гіпотези; обговорення методів дослідження);
• технологічний етап – планування роботи (визначення основних джерел, способів збору інформації, процедури та критерії оцінки результатів; розподіл роботи між членами групи; збирання інформації стосовно проблеми; пошук учнями особистих розв’язків проблеми; вирішення проміжних завдань; розв’язання проблеми; аналізування отриманих результатів; формулювання висновків)
• заключний етап (оформлення результатів, підготовка до представлення проекту; здійснення його захисту; підбиття підсумків)

Головна мета проекту:

• створення оригінального продукту (проекту) з навчальної теми;
• формування особистісних якостей;
• уміння презентувати створене перед аудиторією.

Очікувані результати проекту:

• розвиток комунікативних компетентностей;
• підвищення рівня якості знань;
• самостійна діяльність учнів;
• креативність, позитивне ставлення до інновацій;
• особистісна самореалізація, прагнення до саморозвитку та самовдосконалення.

Учасники проекту: учні 8 класу.

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Greeting. Організаційний момент.

Good morning, everybody! I‘m glad to see you. How are you today?

2. Aim. Повідомлення теми й мети уроку.

The topic of our today’s lesson is “Welcome to Great Britain“. We should listen and discuss projects of our students about Great Britain and do some exercises to improve your English.

3. Warming up. Фонетична зарядка

First of all we have to revise our lexis, that’s why we’ll start our lesson with phonetic drill.

Listen and repeat after the announcer in chorus the geographical names: the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the British Isles, England, Scotland, Wales, the Irish Sea, the North Sea, the English Channel, London, Greenwich, the Thames, the Severn, Cambridge, Oxford, Glasgow, Coventry, Manchester, Cardiff, Snowdonia, Caernarfon Castle.
