Тема: Традиції та свята моєї родини.

   Мета:

• навчальна: презентувати новий лексичний матеріал за темами «Свята і традиції», «Я, моя сім’я та друзі», практикувати мовні засоби за підтемою «Я, моя сім’я та друзі»; описувати та запитувати про повсякденні справи, формувати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць, порядкових числівників, вдосконалювати навички аудіювання та читання;
• розвиваюча: уважно стежити за презентованою інформацією, ефективно співпрацювати під час парної та групової роботи; мотивувати готовність брати участь в іншомовному спілкуванні, розвивати різні типи пам’яті, учити працювати в парі, логічно висловлювати думку;
• виховна: виховувати уміння концентруватися, слухати інших, формувати доброзичливу атмосферу в класі. 

Обладнання: плакати «Свята і традиції», «Я, моя сім’я та друзі»,інтерактивні вправи.

ХІД УРОКУ

WARM-UP

-Hello children. How are you? Let’s play game. “Miming Game” your task is mime an action you did yesterday e.g. “I helped my mother yesterday”  or  “ I watched TV yesterday”. OK, let’s go.

Very good. Good job. Very well.

PRESENTATION

-Now, open your books on page 89, exercise 1.Say what family parties people usually have? OK. Let’s write new words into your vocabularies. Now we will read them. (Pupils listen and look at the pictures. Use board sketches, miming and gestures to check if pupils have understood the meaning of the new words).

-Sasha repeat please. Olia repeat.

Listen and read.

Pre-reading:

-What is this this text about? What traditional family holidays do you know? Now repeat words.

Read the text. (Pupils read sentences in silence after teacher. You can translate difficult sentences or proper  names into native language. Pronounce words clearly.)

While-reading:

-Now you’ll repeat some words. Very good. Let’s read the text in a chain.

-What do people in many families keep? Do children love parties? Why?

Post-reading:

-What favourite parties do you have in your families? Do you love parties? Why? What is your favourite party?

PRACTICE

Read and complete (p.89, ex.2)

-Your task is complete the sentences using the necessary words from the text.

READING AND WRITING

-OK. Look on the page 90 ex.3.What holidays are we going to read about? What do we usually  do on the 14^th of February? Why do we like it?

-Very well. Let’s play game. Give  the  information about different holidays and special days in Ukraine and Great Britain to class. Use the plan:

1. The date of the holiday

2. What people usually do?

3. What people usually eat?

4.What  people usually give to each other?

-Look at some notes in Ann’s planner on page 91. Write down what she is going to do. So we will read and answer the questions.

- Very well. Your home task is to read ex.5 on p.103.
