Hello, dear friends! You’re welcome to the intellectual English contest “Brain – ring”, which is devoted to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We hope you have already had enough knowledge on this topic to have the competition. You will also have an opportunity to practise your grammar and vocabulary.
Now I’d like to introduce our jury …

1. The first contest is “ Guess the word”.
You get the cards with the numbers of English letters.
You have to guess the word and write it down on the sheet of paper.

2. The second contest is connected with Grammar.
You’ll get the sentences and your task is to find the odd word and cross it.

Each team has to match the beginning and the ending of the sentences as quickly as possible.
