Позакласний захід з англійської мови в початковій школі "What do you know about London?"

 

Мета: узагальнити знання учнів про Лондон, розвивати навички аудіювання та мовлення, продовжувати ознайомлювати з цікавими і визначними місцями Лондона, виховувати інтерес до вивчення історичних і культурних місць країни,мова якої вивчається,заохочувати до вивчення англійської мови.

Обладнання: ілюстрації, відеоролик, тестові завдання, завдання на картках, фішки, подарунки для всіх учасників гри (закладки), призи для переможців

 

T: Good afternoon, dear children! I’m glad to see you! How are you?

T: Lets read a romantic dream (at the blackboard pupils read:

                                          London lovely London is great

                                      I dream to go there for long.

                                                                      This city-riddle me that beckons

                                                   And my dream, this can not be silenced     

T: What do you think? What is the topic of our  ? Yes, you’re right. We’ll speak about London.   Look at the blackboard and let’s remember this building and their names. London is the capital of Britain. About eight million people live here. There is a big river in London –the Thames. From Tower Bridge you can see the Tower of London. It is a museum now. There is a famous clock in London called Big Ben. Westminster Abbey is one of the oldest royal churches. London’s parks and gardens are really beautiful. In Regent’s Park there is the Zoo. It is one of the biggest and most famous zoos in the world. Big red buses run up and down the streets. The oldest metro in the world, called Tube, is here in London, too.
