Water polo

The playing area is 30*20 meters, 2 m deep. The game is played in 4 quarters, 8 min each quarter with 2 min intervals between quarters

Penalties are taken from 5 meters. There are ordinary fouls and major fouls. The major fouls may result in a temporary 20 seconds removing from the pool

The home team wears white caps, the visiting one – dark (often blue)

Players can’t touch the bottom or the sides of the swimming pool. The ball is bright yellow.

Caps are numbers from 1 to 13. Goalkeepers have numbers 1 or 13. Only 7 players are allowed in the water for one time.
