Anxiety and tension on the part of the student

Anxiety and tention are not always the result of poor language ability Very often students are afraid of being negatively assessed by the teacher or classmates. Trying  to reduce the level of anxiety and tension teacher should be more friendly. caring relaxed and patient.More like a friend ,helping students to learn and less like the authority ,show respectto his students in the way he addresses them or comment on their work Listen carefully to them and show that he cares about their progress Teacher should avoid comparing successful learners and unsuccessful ones ,negative feedback to certain learners in front of their peers.It is important to tolerate students’ mistakes to build up their self-confidence.to acknowledge their efforts and achievements. .

Fear of making mistakes

Don,t correct students very often while they are speaking.Corection should not distract a student from his speech.Encourage students to correct one another.Let students to record themselves and self-correct.

 But after all give feedback on problems and mistakes you have heard.

Lack of appropriate language'

Diagnose problems faced by students who have difficulties in expressing themselves and provide more opportunities to practice the spoken language.                 Use different communicative strategies to compensate for gaps in communicative abilities.in particular.perephrasing .describing. rephrasing and substitution which help to foster confidence in learnes ability to communicate even with

limited resources

don't  let slow students contribute

Allow students work at  their own levels.Each student has individual language skill,an individual approach to working in groups and a specific role to play in the activity. Do not expect all students to contribute equally to the discussion or dialogue.                                                                                Every classroom has those ,so called, quick and slow  learners.In this case cooperative learning can be extremely helpful.This structure encourages quick students to slow  down and slow students to move faster .because they must work together as a team in order to complete a task.So such students have no choice but to work together.When helping slow learners ,ensure that quick students are also learning,otherwise they may  be lost in the class.                And the most common way is don’t leave them time to be disturbed on other things.Sometimes it is useful to tell quick students how long the assignment should take them ,for example  15 minutes.If you see a student that is finished before 15 minutes is up,quickly check his work and give him feedback of how he can improve it.When doing grammar exercises ,inform such students that they must explain their thinking process.It will make them slow down and take their time.,
