Vision: Summer Language School for Gifted Kids“Dream Island”develops kids’ language skills, passionately involves children in different activities,offers something interesting for every child,fosters long-lasting friendship among kids,aims towards a holistic development of a child through language activities.

About:“Dream Island” is an initiative by school authorities and foreign language teachers to establish a repute of an array of events for kids.“Dream Island” holds the motto of “non-stop learning, non-stop fun”

Values: All projects in “Dream Island” should be language related in some form.be either for children or about children or inspiring children.generate good will.generate an element of curiosity or surprise.

Features:“Dream Island” is the only summer language school for gifted kids organized in the city of Berdychiv. The summer language school “Dream Island” in its 14 days activities caters to 120 kids of the age group 7-14 years on a daily basis.

Activities for Kids: The summer language school “Dream Island” is full of various activities to fit best to the motto “non-stop learning, non-stop fun”Art & Craft: daily interactive group-wise lessons/workshops on art & craft,Drawing & Painting: interactive drawing & painting lessons/workshops,Interviewing & Movie Making ,

Activities for Kids: Singing & Dancing,Theatre & Improvisation,Traditional & Cultural: activities stressing upon traditions and culture, Games: different language games to strengthen their team spirit and to develop their social and leadership skills.

The participants created and presented their projects on the Final Grand Finale Day and the parents were invited to watch them. All children were presented with summer school diplomas and certificates

The summer language school “Dream Island” is the fun milestone in our basket of already successful products, which goes a step ahead towards making a foreign language even more accessible to children!
