Сценарій позакласного заходу на тему "Miss England"

Compere: Good evening, dear friends, guests and participants! We are glad to see you! You are welcome to our competition! Today we are going to have a so-called “ Miss England” competition. Six beautiful girls will compete in their learning of English.

Compere: The items of our competition are as following:

1. First the participants must introduce themselves.
2. Then the girls must show their knowledge of English sayings.
3. Their next task is to reveal the perfect knowledge of  English words.
4. The last but one task for the girls is to tell about the points of interest of London.
5. At the end they will have to tell about their hobbies or demonstrate their talents.

Compere: And now let`s introduce the participants…

Compere: To begin with we must choose the jury.

Compere: We offer our guests to be our referee. Today our jury is:

……….., the teacher of Foreign Literature and English;

…………, the graduate student of  Nizhyn State University;

…………., the pupil of the 11 th form.

Compere: So, we begin. Girls, you must introduce yourselves. We shall begin with the pupils of the 11 th form.

Compere: Now, let`s relax a bit and while the girls are preparing for the next competition we shall listen to a song performed by the pupils of the 6 th form.

 (Учні виконують пісню “If You Are Happy”)

Compere:  The next item of our competition is to match the English sayings to their Ukrainian variants and pictures. (Роздать завдання на картках №1)

Compere: Now the pupils of the 5 th form will sing the songs for you

(Учні виконують пісню “On a Cold and Frosty Morning”)

:Compere: Now you must do the following: choose the right words to the topic “Country” (Завдання №2)

            (Звучить музика)

Compere: And now, girls, we shall give you cards with the words. Your task is to fill in the missing letters (Завдання №3)

Ведучий: Зараз ми роздамо вам карточки зі словами. Ваше завдання заповнити пропущені літери.

Compere: While the girls are doing their task the boys of the 4 th form will sing two songs for you.

      ( Учні виконують пісні “I’m not Small”, “ Old McDonald”)

Compere: Your home task was to prepare a report  about sights of London. Now tell us, please, what you know.

Ведучий: Вашим домашнім завданням було підготувати розповідь про визначні місця Лондона. Розкажіть нам, будь ласка, що вам відомо.

( Учасниці розповідають про такі визначні місця: Westminster Abbey, London Tower, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, St.Paul’s Cathedral, London parks, Trafalgar Square.)

 Compere: And now listen to a song  performed by  the girls of the 4 th  form.

     ( Учні виконують пісню “ My Chickens”)

Compere: Our final competition. The girls were given the task to show their talents or to demonstrate their hobbies.

Ведучий: Наш останній конкурс. Дівчатам було дано завдання розповісти про своє хоббі та показати свої таланти.

    ( Учасниці демонструють слідуючі таланти: декламування англійської поезії (сонет Шекспіра), виконання англійської пісні ( “Yes and No”), розповідь про вишивку і показ своїх робіт, виконання сучасного танцю.)

Compere: And now it’s time for the jury to sum up the results of our competition.

Вудучий:  Журі, будь ласка, підбивайте підсумки нашим змаганням.

Compere: While the jury is working the youngest participants of our party  will sing a song  “ Dance with Me”.

    ( Учні виконують пісню.)

Compere: We are grateful to our participants and it is time to award our girls.

Ведучий: Ми вдячні нашим учасницям, і зараз час нагородити наших конкурсанток.

    ( Слово журі. Учасниці нагороджуються пам’ятними  Дипломами та медалями  "Miss England”, “Miss Spelling”, “Miss Pronunciation”, “Miss Eloquence”, “Miss Conisseur of English”, “Miss Sympathy”.)

Тема: Учорашній день школяра.

Мета: Розвиток навичок усного мовлення , розвиток лексичних і граматичних навичок. Вчити учнів використовувати  Past   Indefinite Tense  для опису минулих подій, тренувати у використанні заперечної форми Past Indefinite, ознайомити із запитальною формою.Розвиток навичок читання і бесіди на базі прочитаного. Виховання в учнів почуття дружби, взаємовиручки. Розвиток мовленнєвої реакції, логічного мислення.
