“Around the World”

               Сценарій свята англійською мовою для учнів 5-9 класів “Around the World”

 Мета: формувати і розвивати комунікативні вміння учнів на основі мовних, соціокультурних знань; розширювати кругозір учнів; розвивати вміння сприймати мову на слух; формувати шанобливе ставлення до традицій і звичаїв інших народів; розвивати в учнів міжкультурну компетенцію.

Обладнання: глобус, комп’ютер, проектор, екран

Лунає пісня М. Джексона “Пісня Землі”, під яку учні танцюють з глобусами

Compere 1:“Є таке правило: прокинувся вранці, умився, привів себе до ладу і одразу упорядкуй свою планету”. Антуан де Сент Екзюпері, “Маленький принц”.

Compere 2: We live on a big planet – the Earth. It is our home. We must take care of it, clear and save it.

Compere: Ми живемо на великій планеті Земля. І це наш дім. Ми повинні дбати про неї та охороняти її.  

Pupil: We live in the world so vast and big,

We live in the world so hard to twig,

We live on the Earth, that`s our home,

Let`s all live in peace under heaven`s dome.

Compere 2: Let`s imagine that this is the Earth (магнітна дошка із долями “Землі”). It is cut into quarters. Three quarters of its surface is water and only one quarter is land. Let`s cut the piece representing land in half. Only one-half is inhabitable. The rest of the land is the deserts, mountains, frozen ice caps.

Compere: Тільки  ¾ усієї поверхні Землі – це вода і ¼ – це суша і з неї тільки ½ заселена людьми. Решта – це пустелі, гори та вічні льодовики.

Compere 1: (бере долі) I take a small piece of the slices that represents the water of the world. Only 1% of the Earth`s water is fresh and drinkable and most of this water is polluted. So we must care about these small pieces of the land and water.

Compere:  Лише 1% усієї земної води свіжа і придатна до життя. Більшість – це забруднені води. То ж ми повинні зберегти ці маленькі шматочки води і суші.

Compere 2:  And now let`s think and see what may threaten to the Earth and our lives. (Глядачам пропонуються відеосюжети про світові катастрофи і смерчі, тайфуни, землетруси, виверження вулканів. Під час перегляду лунає пісня М. Джексона “Give in to me”.

Compere 1: So, we saw what dangerous things happen on the Earth. But still our planet is beautiful. And today you`ll see it. We`ll travel all over the world and get acqainted with traditions of different nations.

Compere: То ж ми побачили, які жахливі речі трапляються на Землі. І все-таки наша планета прекрасна. І сьогодні ви у цьому впевнитесь.  То ж повернімо глобус і познайомимось із традиціями різних народів. (Вед. бере в руки глобус, крутить його).

Compere 2: Let`s start. At first we`ll visit the past. Northern America, Wild West, the United States of America many years ago. The first people in America were Indians. They had fur-caps on their heads, painted their faces, they could shoot very well. They were very courageous fair men.

Compere:  По-переше, повернімось у минуле. Північна Америка, Дикий Захід. Корінним населенням Америки були індіанці. Вони носили пов’язки із пір’я, розфарбовували обличчя і вміли добре стріляти. Індіанці були чесними та сміливими людьми. (Відеосюжет про Дикий Захід, про індіанців).

Pupil 1: The Plain Indians didn’t live in one place. When they traveled, dogs carried and pulled their things. They didn’t use horses. When Spanish people arrived in America, some of their horses escaped. The Indians learned to ride horses, and used them when they hunted buffaloes.

Pupil 2: The Indians cooked the buffalo meat. They used the skins for clothes and shoes. They used the bones for knives and arrows. They lived in tips, tents made of buffalo skins.

Pupil 1: Indians loved their children. Mothers carried babies on their backs. Children didn’t go to school!

Pupil 2: The children learnt everything from their parents. They played with dolls and had fighting competitions. They played in rivers in summer and in the snow in winter.

Pupil 1: Life for the Indians changed when Europeans arrived. Standing Bear, an Indian chief, said, “The plains are not wild for us. Then people arrived from the East and the “Wild West” started”(Лунає музика, чути бій барабанів).

We are Indians,

Creesping through the jungle,

On silent foot,

Looking for animals,

Hunting for animals,

Searching for animals,

And ready to shoot.

Compere 1:  And now we`re again in the United States of America but nowadays.

Compere:  Ми знову в Америці. Наші дні…

Compere 2: The USA is situated on the North American continent. Its capital is Washington. America is famous for its skyscrapes, modern architecture and … the Statue of Liberty. It is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Compere:  США знаходиться на північноамериканському континенті. Столиця США – Вашингтон. Америка відома своїми хмарочосами, сучасними архітектурними спорудами і …. статуєю Свободи. (Відеосюжет про США)

Compere 2: (крутить глобус) Now we are going to Japan.

Compere:  Ми вирушаємо до далекої країни, яка має назву Японія.

Compere 2: Japan is a country of sunrise. It is situated on the island in the Pacific Ocean. The symbol is chrisanthemus. Japan is famous for its ikebana, origami. Japanese wear kimono. Their national kind of sport is karate. Only Japan has a special tea ceremony.

Compere:  Японія – це країна сонця, що сходить. Вона знаходиться на острові у Тихому океані. Символ Японії – хризантема. Ця країна славиться мистецтвом ікебани та орігамі. Японці носять кімоно. Їх національний вид спорту – карате. Тільки Японія має свою особливу чайну церемонію. (Відео про Японію, вихожяь  двоє дівчат у кімоно і розповідають вірш японською мовою.(Танець дівчат із дзвіночками)

Pupil 1: Юкіно хіторія ва кіно едо ні ару,

Сакура но хака мітаї десу.

Асі та тайо ва атате мемасу,

Доко га юкі десу ка.

Pupil 2: Намети снігу лежать на гілках дерев,

Вони схожі на квіти сакури.

Завтра пригріє сонце. Куди ж подівся сніг.

Compere 1: (крутить глобус) We continue our trip and we are going to Turkey.

Compere: Наша мандрівка продовжується, ми вирушаємо до Туруччини.

Compere 2: (Лунає музика)

Turkey is a country that is situated between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. It is very hot there. There are a lot of fruit. Turkey is the country of tourism. Turkey is the country of Shakheresada`s fairy-tales. Turkey is a real paradise.

Compere: Туреччина – це країна, що знаходиться між Чорним та Середземними морями. Тут дуже жарка погода, тому турецька земля славиться своїм розмаїттям фруктів. То ж Туреччина – країна туризму. Туреччина – країна казок Шахерезади. Туреччина – справжній рай. (Відеосюжет про Турцію)

(Виходить султан. Учні танцюють східний танець. Султан виконує пісню “Турция” (пісня Таркана)

Да случиться в вашей жизни только все хорошее,

А все беды и несчастья пусть уходят в прошлое!

Да продлятся ваши дни до глубокой старости,

Чтоб счастливо жили вы в здравии и радости!

Compere 1: (Крутить глобус) And now we`re going to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Compere: Ми вирушаємо до Об’єднаного Королівства Великої Британії та Північної Ірландії.

Compere 2: The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is situated on the British Isles. This country has a very long history with many traditions. There are many monuments and ancient architectural buildings.

Compere:  Об’єднане Королівство Великої Британії та Північної Ірландії знаходиться на Британських островах. Ця країна має дуже довгу історію і багато традицій. Королівсьво славиться своїми театрами, пам’ятниками і старовинними архітектурними спорудами.

Pupil 1:  London is a busy town,

A capital with a queen and crown,

With a huge glass wheel called the London Eye,

And a big brick clock called the Big Ben by,

A stone made statue of Napoleon,

And a football stadium with tickets to earn.

A shopaholic high street with huge bargain signs,

And a big choice of businesses of all the kinds,

A huge range of schools for children here,

And restaurants or cafes of pubs everywhere,

So come on down to London town.  (Відеосюжет про Об’єднане Королівство)

Compere 1: Listen please to the Scotish folk song – “My Bonny is over the ocean”

Compere 1: (Крутить глобус) At last, we are in Ukraine.

Compere:  Нарешті, ми – в Україні.

Pupil 1: We can go to the East,

We can go to the West.

But at home it is better,

But at home it is the best.

We live in Ukraine, a beautiful land.

It’s home for me and you, my friend.

Pupil 2: My native land,

The land of wonders

Of autumn rains

And summer thunders

The greenest hills

And magic lakes,

The tender breeze,

Romantic dales

Amazing land –

My dear Ukraine.

Compere 2: Ukraine is one of the largest countries of Eastern Europe. It is our Motherland. It lies on the crossroads of the ways from Asia to Europe. Ukraine is an agrarian country. It is rich in traditions, national dishes. Our people are merry.

Compere:  Україна – одна з найбільших країн Східної Європи. Вона лежить на перехресті шляхів з Азії в Європу. Україна – це аграрна країна. Наша Батьківщина багата на традиції та свої страви. І люди в Україні дуже веселі. (Відеосюжет про Україну, учні співають частівки)

Pupil 1: Люди кажуть, люди кажуть:

“Десь-то скрипка грає!”

А то Галя, а то Галя

У саду співає!

Pupil 2: Ой чия ж то хатинонька

У селі найкраща?

Ой, чия ж то дівчинонька

Така роботяща?

Pupil 3: Ой, я вийду у садочок,

У садочку грушка.

За те мене усі люблять,

Що я чепурушка.

Pupil 1: Would you like to sing with me

And then have a cup of tea?

Come to me in my house,

You won`t see there any mouse!

Pupil 2: I like apples. I like pears.

We shall buy them at the fairs!

Can you give me a piece of beef?

Look at my charming feet!

Pupil 3:People say, people say,

I`m very, very gay!

It`s a pity, it`s a pity

I`m very, very pretty!

Учні танцюють танець із рушниками під пісню “Є на світі одна країна”

Всі учасники свята співають пісню (Здравствуй, мир”)

It`s the Peace

East and West have many races,

East and West have many lands,

White and black, and yellow faces,

White and black, and yellow hands.

Live, dance and sing with glee!

Let Peace be! Down with war!

Be so happy, well and free!

Live in peace for evermore.

Teacher: Ось і підійшло до кінця наше свято. Хочеться вірити, що люди,які живуть в різних куточках нашої прекрасної планети, завжди будуть пам’ятати про те, що майбутнє Землі залежить від них.
