Тема:Спорт. Мій улюблений вид спорту.

Мета: Узагальнити знання учнів з теми: “Sport”. Поглибити та розширити знання учнів з пройденої теми. Закріпити пройдений лексичний та граматичний матеріал. Розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення. Розвивати навички читання та письма. Розвивати пам'ять, логіку, мислення, активність учнів. Прищеплювати любов до спорту.

Обладнання: підручник, роздатковий матеріал.

Good morning, my dear children. I am very glad and happy to see all of you today. Today  is  unusual  lesson.   There are some guests at our lesson. We  should  work  hardly  and   fast  to  recognize  something  interesting  and  new .

You are quite right! It’s sport. Today  we  are  going  to speak  about  sport, about your favourite sport and spot in our life.

T: Today we are going to revise and activate the words on the topic, practice and develop writing, reading, speaking, listening, grammar, lexical and phonetic skills.So? let’s start.

Sport in Our Life

People all over the world are fond of sports and games. Sport and physical exercises help us to keep fit and healthy. There are summer and winter kinds of sports. The most popular winter sports are skating, skiing . Some people greatly enjoy figure skating and ski-jumping. It's so nice to go to the skating-rink or to the forest on a frosty sunny day!

The most popular summer sports are swimming, cycling, boating and yachting. It's so wonderful to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy watching nature!

Children all over the world like to play indoor and outdoor games. Athletics, aerobics, gymnastics enjoy their great popularity among the girls. Many of them attend sports clubs and train in the gym. The boys go in for boxing, wrestling, football, tennis, basketball and track and field events.

Everyone must do all he or she can to be healthy and to develop a strong character. "A sound mind in a sound body," the old Latin proverb says.

Удосконалення навичок вживання дієслів to play, to do, to go з різними видами спорту.

T: Now, let’ speak about the use of the verbs to play, to go, to do with sports.

Look at the examples on the blackboard. We use “play” with any competitive game.

Play: tennis, golf, football, basketball, chess.

We use “go” with any activities you do alone and with sports that have the ending – ing.

Go: swimming, cycling, dancing, surfing, sailing.

We use “do” with any sport that is more of a physical activity.

Do: yoga, judo, gymnastics.

Now, let’s do Task 4 – choose play, go or do with sports and write them down.
