Мета:

• Закріпити вживання нового лексичного матеріалу на практиці в усному мовленні.
•  Закріпити навички сприймання нового лексичного матеріалу на слух із повним розумінням відеоматеріалу.
• Розвивати мовленнєву здогадку під час сприйняття іншомовного тексту.
• Розвивати мовленнєві здібності та логічне викладення думок англійською мовою.
• Виховувати культуру спілкування, прийняту в сучасному цивілізованому світі, почуття поваги до оточення.
• Сприяти розумінню важливості володіння іноземною мовою й потреби користуватися нею як засобом спілкування.

Матеріали та обладнання: електронний варіант підручника, презентація, роздатковий матеріал, проектор, комп’ютер, відеоматеріали, підручник On Screen B1.

                                         Хід заняття:

   T. Good morning students! Nice to meet you again and I’m sure you are all in a good mood. First of all I would like to know something interesting that happened with you these days?

   T. Our topic is “ The Earth is Ours”. During our lesson we’ll watch some videos, do some exercises connected with these topic and at the end of the lesson you’ll have a test in classtime.

   T. At the very beginning we’ll watch a video about how animals recycle.(SB p.61, ex.2)

   T. And now please, let’s open our SB on page 61 and complete the text in exercise 1 with the correct word.

   T. Next open page 62-63. On these pages you have a text about holiday destination. Before we start reading the text I would like to show a presentation with new words from this text.

  A presentation connected with “check these words”

   T. Are you tired? Let’s play a game.

             Game “The definition of the words”

Students divided into two teams. Teacher mix cards with words and definition and then students must match the words with their definition.

The winner will be the team which match all the words the first.

  T. Also before reading we will watch a very interesting video about tourist’s destination. ( SB p.63,ex.4)

  T. Now read the text and complete the headlines with the words from the ex.1b. ( students read the text in chain).

  T. The next exercises 2 and 3 is about people who want to go on an eco-holiday. Read the description about them and give me the answer: which is the best holiday for them. Please work in group of four.

  T. Also you have the highlighted words in the text. Please match them with synonyms in ex.4, p.62.

  T. And now I’ll send you a test. While you are preparing for it, I would like to know what was interesting for you during our lesson?

  T. You mark for this lesson is the mark for the test.

  T. Your home task is WB p.44-45
